I got a call on July 21st saying that it was ready. They added oil and cleaned out the gas tank. I was then told that neither of these were covered under the warranty and I owe $57.....
They said specifically that it wasn't running because it was low on oil.
It literally shut off while it was running.
Not once did they say that it has a leak, nothing about it may be burning oil, both of which are possible and covered under the warranty.
They also never called me or [redacted] to ask if they could perform the work, cleaning the gas out.
So now I have to pay this business $57 for about five minutes of "work" that they didn't ask if they could do.
I will NEVER take another thing to them under any circumstances.
I have read reviews all over the Internet about them and none are truly good.

D & J Small Engines, is the best service center I have ever been to yet!
I have taken my hedger once and my Toro lawnmower three time to have repaired under warranty's.

They even look for things that are wrong and keep you informed of the repair process.

They told me my mower head seal needed to be replaced. I was wondering what that funny sound of air was every time I shut it off!

I also asked them about some ratings given by other people on some sites.
They explained what the complaints were and it was as the saying goes "The Squeaky Wheel Gets The Grease ", they all were wanting something for nothing.

My 4 repairs were done professionally, under warranty and I with great pride highly recommend D & J Small Engines for all of your repairs.

An authorized repair center took mower to fix but brought back damaged and dirty and took from Sept 2013 to Jan 2014 to do so, was to fix turning

My zero-turn mower was not turning left so I was informed that they would contact authorized repair center to fix, permission number for pick-up was sent to him. He picked up lawnmower and drove it out of my garage. He took it to his house from here app. Sept 2013 ,it was brought back still not turning left, so another pick-up number was issued. I informed the place I purchased and the manufacturing company that the mower was already getting scratched up and was told they thought he surely wouldn't do any damage. I called to check on lawnmower by phone with no call back so I went to office where the lady at the desk didn't even know that they had it back it was not in the system so she asked the owner where it was and he said it was at his house still, she had to log it in. I was told that he had received the wrong part from parts and that he had to reorder another transmission. Then I was told that he received the wrong part again and that parts place had packed a whole stack of right transmissions in the left side transmission
boxes! I called the company I bought from complaining of the problems I was having and the manager from company where I bought the lawnmower came to my house and took his own pictures and forwarded them to the warranty department and or the manufactory of the lawnmower because of the damages that he saw and even he was concerned about what else was damaged by said service center. The owner said he hit a tree limb and then I was told a piece of wood then it was a tree branch which caused a hole in the discharge shoot and then it had to be replaced, the belt was shredded and the deck was scratched and dented , the sides of the mower were scratched ,the lawnmower was full of pieces of tree twigs and dirt and grass, etc, he didn't even bother to clean it up it was brought back dirty and damaged but it left my house, garage kept without a scratch or rust on it at all, this is when the manager came and took pictures and I took pictures too. I really complained and did not want said service center to take it again and asked if I could take it to another authorized repair center but was told I had to let him have a chance to repair and clean up,( against my wishes) and with them being aware of what had happened he would make it right but I told her then that he probably couldn't fix all damage he had done. He then had to replace 2 deck idlers, left and right spindle bearings and belt , said he touched up paint, sharpened blades, and wiped down unit but it still is dirty and not painted on all the scratches , and the deep scratches are there still. When he bought it back this time he was so arrogant and hateful to me for complaining to place I bought the lawnmower and the warranty department and because I told him I still wasn't satisfied and that I wasn't able to see all the damage through the dirt. He then jumped on my mower and drove it out of my garage and ran it in circles a couple of times and raised the deck up and down and said see it works. I have complained numerous time to warranty department and manufactory to get solution because I can't resolve it with authorized service center. I bought it 06/01/2012,order number XXXXX,pd $2988.96,timecutter ss XXXX XXXXXX Toro 50"z.People had made remarks on how new it looked before this. I was told by him that I didn't need to contact anyone that I could have told him and he would have fixed it but he knows I am unhappy and he has not tried to resolve issue
