boat purchased had significant issues when received. Seller was not willing to assist with repair.
This company buys and sells boats and cars, primarily via eBay. While they did check over the 2004 chaparral 220, they neglected to lake test it. The lack of a real lake test did not uncover an underlying issue. I purchased the product and had it shipped to another state. Since they were not willing to do a lake test on site, I made the purchase subject to a successful test. Upon receipt, it failed the test miserably. It had an issue with the ignition sensor, thermostat and most of all, the gimbal bearing blew and seized to the driveshaft. Boat never made it 1/2 mile in the water. We took it to a reputable boat repair shop (skipper buds) and repairs totaled over $2000. While I do not think the seller was aware of each issue, they did not evaluate the boat enough to advertise the real condition. Most of all, they are completely unwilling to provide any financial assistance whatsoever. They ultimately marketed a boat with misrepresented issues and were unwilling to assist with the repair.
