D & K Detector Sales Inc Reviews (1)
I recently attended "The Gold & Treasure Show" in Salem Oregon. I stopped by D&K booth to look at some dredge floats and a gentlemen approached myself and my partner to see if we needed some assistance. We asked about the floats and he told us that the particular pair we were looking at were already sold. We asked him how exactly they were to be mounted and he walked us through the process referring to some diamond plate brackets. We asked if they were included with the floats. He told us yes and that they were necessary to make the mounts work. I asked about ordering them and he took me to one of the ladies at another section of their booth. I will leave her name out. After a discussion of how to make delivery arrangements, we agreed that she would deliver them to Woodburn that upcoming Monday and that I would be charged an additional $ 20.00. I agreed and made the purchase. I went up to the store we agreed to have them delivered to in Woodburn on Wednesday to pick up the floats and they were not there. I contacted her via email and the message I received back said "So sorry". She went on to state that she could deliver them the next Monday. I agreed. Monday arrived and I contacted the store to see if the floats were there and they were not. I contacted her again and she said she would make the drop Tuesday because she had been busy with another show. Finally, I went to pick up the floats only to find no diamond plate mounting pieces. When I contacted her via email, she said that they were not included. They also cost $ 40.00 plus shipping. Are you kidding me? When I communicated what we had been told at the show and that my partner confirmed what I heard, it still made no difference. I gave her a week to make it right and have not heard a response back. It has now been two weeks. I posted my experience on a forum through the Gold Prospectors Association and a lady contact me stating that she would let the owner know of my dissatisfaction. She told me that they usually do not conduct business that way. It has been another week and still no resolution.
