I am rejecting this response because: The owner did not complete all the tasks listed in his responseFirst and foremost, the baseboards were ripped out without permission because he said they had to be replacedThe board he replaced were not properly primed and are peelingThe floors were NOT caulked as we are having someone else complete this job because he left it unfinishedSome of the floor has started to come up because it was not installed properlyThe owner was also given a $gift card that he never showed receipts for and took supplies from our propertyI have receipts for all the supplies I purchased and did not receive any receipts from the owner after I asked him for them when he decided to quit. The owner also left our home UNLOCKED and vulnerable to a break in when he chose to quitHe did not give us any warning that he was going to quit and even texted me the day before stating he was coming to work on our houseI've had several quotes given since this incident by other contractors that have told us they will have to redo the majority of the work that was done because it was done incorrectly by *** *** ***For example, the popcorn was not scraped as stated, but instead new dry wall was placed over the old dry wallThe walls were not prepped before painting them and the walls are peelingThe door way for the new door was not properly measure and has to be redoneThe "new" cabinet doors have paint all over the hardware, the outlets were not covered, and there is paint on the brand new tile.Furthermore, the owner and his son damaged many other items in our home such as the ceiling around a fan, the paint job in the master bathroom, the paint above the baseboards, the caulk around the tub in the guest room was done incorrectly and the wrong color, the mirror in the guest bath is damaged/unfinished. Additionally, we had to get our home locks changed because of this incidentWe have photos of all of the damages this owner did to our homeThe owner is volatile and becomes defensive when you simply ask him questionsHe should not be allowed to take advantage of people the way he hasI know another couple that is going through the same exact scenario with this company.

I have no desire to talk with her at all.These are the completed parts of her jobbedrooms carpet removed and floors prepped and laminate installed in bedrooms aprox ft, all base boards removed and replaced with new and caulked and painted.all switches& plugs removed and replaced
aprox ceiling fans installed, second bath trim around the mirror tub caulked lower cabinet repaired, in the master diagnosed a dead outlet and repaired, installed a outlet in the bookcase in living room, fixed two outlets on kitchen back splashInstalled a new light in dinning room.Framed new wall for laundry room insulated wired two outlets for garage, install exterior door install can lights in new laundry room , installed new ac line into new laundry room,scraped the popcorn from the ceiling taped and painted laundry room.Installed two new outlets for garage door openers , installed new vent in the hot water tank roomI also have dollars worth of material I bought and were never paid back .I also removed all debris and hauled it to the dump and have that receipt so you can see I am such a bad guy see no desire to talk with her and she can do what ever she wants
