We purchased a foam roof from D&L Roofing five and a half years ago The roof had a ten year warrantyEverything seemed fine, but we recent found water inside the house One wall, carpet, subflooring were destroyed The insurance adjuster and two contractors said the initial installation was the worst they had ever seen, and the deterioration looks worse than a ten to fifteen year roof, not a five and a half year installation I called D & L, but they hung up on me I asked for a return callNo one has calledI asked for an email response None has been forthcoming Our insurance company has asked us to file this complaint because they don't want their customers to be victims of such faulty workmanship in the future
Our new roofers say it is poor practice to spray foam onto shinglesA friend who has installed many such roof
I would not recommend this company to do your roofThe person who came to do the estimate was nice but completely changed when I mentioned how ridiculous their high percentage fee was on using a credit card (higher then the credit card companies charge them for giving their customers the convenance of using a credit card) After mentioning this by email the only correspondence I got from that point were calls and emails asking for the 50% deposit before they would set a date to come outAt this point they had already done a $"emergency" tarp to prevent further water damageAfter a couple of weeks the tarp started to unravel and blow pieces all over the neighborhood.D&L refused to do anything about it because I chose a different company to fix my roofApparently the fact that I paid $for a tarp to prevent further water damage didn't matter to themBy the time the roof was fixed the tarp was 80% goneDo not use D&L! *** *** *** was a much better experience!
