I purchased a D-Link 2208 in Dec 2011 which has 3 years warranty. Now it's not working and I am being bounced from Canadian to US support
I purchased a D-Link 2208 in Dec 2011, upon opening the box it had a CD with documentation saying the warranty is 3 years and provided the number to technical support.
The product stopped working in Oct 2013 at which point I called the Canadian technical support. I was told that the model does not exist and they can't help me. I called again and pointed them to the website which shows the model does exist. They then said it's a US only model.
I again pointed them to http://www.dlink.com/-/media/Consumer_Products/DGS/DGS%202208/Manual/DGS%202208_...⇄ which clearly states that warranty should be available for Canadian customers.
Since November 2013 I have already called D-Link multiple times, left voice mails etc. and been promised that customer service will call me back to no avail.
I had a new conversation today with a US techical agent who confirmed that my product was in warranty but I need to talk to Canadian customer support.
I am tried of bouncing between the US and Canadian support
