Repairs done on 1999 International Semi, resulted in additional and costly repairs week and half later for same issues.
I took a 1999 International in to have issues solved with the loss of power and it would die on the road. They hooked it up to diagnostics machine that cost $267.00 we were not informed that this was additional cost. it stated wire harness problems or Injector #4 was bad. we had they test wiring No problems there, we had they take cover inspect injectors, No problem there, The suggested removing injectors and having them tested at another place. That was done and all injecters came back fine. so only thing that we could do was have them put the truck back together. Paid them $1514.55 for those repairs so the total came to $1781.55. The semi ran worse when it left the shop. we barely got it back to the [redacted] area. Found a shop in the [redacted] area that looked at the semi and took the valve cover off, the first thing that the technician working on the truck saw was #1 injector had faulty wiring on top of the injector. This had to have been done when the first shop put the truck back together. Costing me another $2195.95 Now I am out $4,000.00 on a repair that should of been done once.
