D & M Cleaners*

My mother sent in a thirty year old leather jacket to have it dry cleaned, sewn, and have a button added. They took about two weeks, and finally my mother went in to pick it up, and they said they were not going to charge us for cleaning it. When she got home, she saw they had burned the jacket, fried it, on the back between the shoulder blades. When she took it back, all they said was they would give her store credit, which is ridiculous. Why would we want to take dry cleaning again to that business only so they might damage even more of our clothes. We want them dry cleaners to pay us for damages to the jacket, not only because it is genuine leather, but also because of its age. As mentioned before, it is thirty years old, so inflation should come into effect in the value of the jacket before it was burned/fried.
