Great customer service and quality work. Educated me on the construction process. Would highly recommend.

Totally reneged on contract, taking advantage of handicapped/disabled individual in most dishonest manner;receiving funds & not delivering services.Customer being in desperate status to repair roof, was taken advantage of by contractor by constantly pressuring consumer for money and not delivering on the contract of completing job as per contract.Desired SettlementTo complete the contracted job immediately per contract.

has failed to comply with contract as follows:did not start job for close to a month. has worked a couple of days on job. keeps asking for more moneyAt the signing of the contract to put a roof on our home, we were quoted a price of, $1100. On June 23rd the contractor received a ck for $9200 which we found out was cashed at our bank about 3 hrs after we gave it to him. Work was suppose to begin ASAP. No supplies were ever dropped off at my home. After 6 weeks of calling repeatedly a ladder was dropped off & the next day a worker showed up on a bicycle & began stripping a small part of my roof. He was there for about 3 weeks & laid down tar paper. Nothing has been done since & it is now Sept. 1st. There are shingles & debris all over my yard which was stated in the contract were to be removed daily. The contractor has not worked at all, just the one worker that shows up on his bicycle. The only time we see the contractor is when he comes to our door & asks for more money. He told us he needed to get a bigger dumpster for shingles so he needed more money & my spouse gave him cash for $500 No dumpster has been delivered to my home. 2 weeks ago the contractor said he needed $200 more for supplies so we gave him a ck. for that! It has been about 4 weeks since the worker has done any work. The only part of my home that is even partially done, is my front porch which is approx. 25 ft long by 15 ft. wide. All I have is tar paper on about a 1/4 of my roof at this time & the remainder of the roof remains untouched. In the contract an amendment was written up to install a plywood floor in my attic as well as replace a small window. This was supposed to be done by cutting a whole in the roof & going into the attic through this whole, instead of going through the house. An additional $3200 was quoted for this work. So the whole project was quoted at a cost of $14200 We have given the contractor $9400 in checks & $500 on cash. A total of $9900.00 We also found out by calling City Hall that no Permit was ever issued. The contractor SAID he is insured & licensed & gave us a number, but we were unable to find his name & license number when we called City Hall.Desired SettlementI would like a refund of my money so I can hire someone else to finish my roof before winter comes. Most of my roof is exposed to the elements & I'm afraid I will get leaks in my home.
