When we were out to work on the leak we did not do any work with the shower We repaired the leak and left the house We are sorry that the shower caused the floors to get wet again, however we did not do any work on the shower and are not responsible for it being left on and no one checking to see if it was running No strong arm tactics were used, I’m sure that this is in reference to our owner [redacted] telling the customer that he would still need to pay his bill for the work that was completed This was not done to escape any liability; we are not liable for anything in this situation.In short, D&M Plumbing repaired the leak and left without touching the shower In reference to the complaint that we were late, left, then wouldn’t answer the phone: We do not have a plumber named [redacted] (or anything similar) however we did extend our hours to come out later in the evening on Friday to get the problem fixed Getting materials is always harder after the supply houses are closed and I’m sure that it took some time to get what was needed and get back to the house Over the weekend our plumber who was on emergency duty had a personal emergency and was not available When we came in on Monday and got the message our owner came out himself to see what had happened When it became clear that we were not responsible for the flooding our owner made the determination that the customer would still need to pay for the serviceD&M Plumbing

We are not responsible for the flooding. We came out and got the problem fixed. We did not turn on the shower. If the shower was left on and flooded the basement a second time on Saturday, D&M Plumbing was not responsible for the additional flooding. The customer should not have gone all weekend without water, if he did there was some other problem, all that was needed was to shut off the shower. If there is a problem, the customer should call one of our service numbers listed on our card, our bill, in the phonebook, or online, contacting a technician on his day off doesn’t guarantee service, and he would not be in a position to tell the customer if we could be out to help with the problem. Our owner came out himself on Monday morning as soon as we found out about the problem to see what had happened. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the accusations, and we are sorry that the customers floor was flooded twice in days, but we were not responsible for that flooding in any way.
