Review: D. M. Rothwell, Inc. unfairly withheld $150.00 of my security deposit after I was a tenant, untruthfully claiming I had left the apartment unclean. I have both photos and an eye witness that will confirm the broom clean state in which I left the apartment. After speaking with others with similar experiences, I believe withholding a portion of security deposits over bogus cleaning fees to be a pattern with D. M. Rothwell, Inc.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the portion of my deposit I am owed.

In response to complaint ID [redacted]; please note: We are the management company for the owners of the property and assumed management of this property a few months before this resident moved out. The kitchen and bathroom required cleaning as well as mopping the floors and cleaning the windows. We forwarded the pictures to the resident. Prior to move out we provide to each resident a move out procedure detailing what is required. We have a video on our website explaining what and how to clean. No damages were charged to this resident and cleaning is never a damage. Thank you [redacted], Broker
