[redacted] Miller (Miller Roofing Contractors)I am making a complaint for work that was supposed to be completed at my grandmothers house, per a contract w/my grandmothers property starting on 9/11/11. From 2011 to 9/24/12 Almost ALL work is still incomplete! Water pipes had been fixed in her basement, yet still continue to leak. Electric has been ran, yet there is still no electrical throughout some of the house.This man has charged my grandmother $64,000. and the work still lay incomplete! When I call [redacted] I get excuses of "yes it needs done. I need to finish it. I need to commit. I'm in INdiana, I'm working on a house in Utica, Ohio that is awful" Well, honestly. I don't care! My grandmother's work is paid for, and deserves to be finished! What kind of person postpones a paid job from 2011 to start up another? My grandmother is an elderly lady who trusted that [redacted] Miller was an honest Christian Mennonite that would not take advantage of her. She has paid $64,000. over the past 2 years, and is still waiting on the work to be completed. An issue that bothers me most is the fact that he had dug up her porch&left uneven cement rock and a 3foot trench around it since Feb2012! He left 1 piece of plywood for her to get across the rocky dug up, uneven concrete&3foot trench. It is clearly an unsafe way for anyone to get across what used to be a porch. This shows lack of respect for his client as well as care for her well being. I personally spoke w/[redacted] on numerous occasions, he gave me his word he would be out week after week, and still did not show. I would continually hear excuse after excuse from this man. I am disgusted at his lack of professionalism, and care of his customer who has paid him over&above. I am disgusted that this man did not call my grandmother to let her know he would need to postpone work, or come another day. Instead, my grandmother receives no call, no show, nothing! For almost a year!The work [redacted] Miller and his company has done is shoddy, half-[redacted].
