He's done nothing since. It's been six months since we received that one payment, and it's been two months since we've heard anything from him at all.
If you are not physically located in the Bloomsburg area to keep constant pressure on Dan to either sell or return your family's possessions, I STRONGLY recommend you find another auctioneer.

Review: My Mother and I have been working with Dan for almost two years. Initially he was responsive to phone calls, but that soon dwindled. He stopped returning phone calls and it is almost impossible to get ahold of him by phone or email. We had given him some [redacted] collectable dolls to auction but told him not to sell the dolls without discussing it with my Mother first. In a check he sent he included a note that he was waiting for word from my Mom before he sold the dolls. My Mother has been trying to call him since April with no return calls EVER. We received a check dated 7/7/2014 with an itemized list of auctioned items that included the very expensive dolls that he SOLD for a DOLLAR or so each.All without ever talking to my Mother. We have since called and emailed him and asked him to return any dolls he has in his possession ASAP and not to sell them and to call my Mother ASAP. It is three days later with no phone call or email. It is also noted that items were sold at the exact price the bid was started at and this was an auction not a store. A contract was also broken in the beginning as the date to finish was not completed in time by Dan with no extension asked for by Dan. Due to his dishonest practices I even question the actual auction prices he gets for our items as he states in the second contract with us that family members can not attend auctions that our items will be auctioned at. the first contract only said we had to notify him if a family member would be at the auction. I understand that we could not bid to perhaps try to raise up the price, but to just be there to observe? Seems shady to me. Thankyou for any assistance you can offer to me and my Mother. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like remaining dolls and Longaberger dolls returned. I would like sold dolls to be refunded for the amount of money my mother was going to tell him to auction them for if he ever would have returned her phone calls of which she had tried for months. she is 75 years old and does not need the type of stress she is receiving. My father owned a propane company for over 50 years so we know how a professional courteous business owner should conduct themselves. $20 per sold doll.
