Several weeks ago my wife and I went to McDonalds on roughly 188th and blue mound Rd in Brookfield WI. We ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches and had a coupon buy one get one free. In addition we had asked on our sandwiches to substitute an english muffin for a biscuit.I repeated the order three times because the person seemed to be having trouble comprehending our request. When we came to the payment window she informed me the deal did not apply because of the changes made, I explained it was buy on get one of equal value all three were the same, I then asked her to repeat the order. She left her post somewhat flustered and a gentlemen came to the window to ask me what I wanted. I explained in detail our order, which wasn't complicated at all. He said fine took our money and we headed to the pick-up window. Shame on me I should have asked a 6th time for the woman at the window to repeat the order. She handed us the bag, shame on us again we could have checked right there but did not. We arrived home and the order was wrong. I am not kidding the order was wrong. My wife said oh let just eat it, I said no, we are calling. We called the store and after explaining how they screwed up the fellow I was speaking to abruptly said "you need to learn how to order" and hung up on me. I was even more angry and we called a corporate 800# to express our disapproval, they were very nice and said someone would follow-up. A woman named [redacted] called was also nice told me not to call corporate again but to call her. agreed I was treated rudly told me the lady who took our order was mentally challenged and she would send us coupons for free sandwiches and scold the staff. We specifically said we wanted no one fired and use this as a teaching moment.No one followed up, no letter as even a minimum gesture,apologizing, nothing. That's the McDonalds real face in the marketplace, screw the customer.
