On 5/23/2011 I purchased a chrysler lhs. For 2000.00,I Know the car is rebuilt and sold as is. Although it also must be safety inspected at a state certified facility. The safety sticker is on the car, but within one day the check engine light comes on,the abs light, and the air bag light comes on also. the lights or on for awhile then go off,and back on. when I changed the oil thinking it might help the engine light. I put the recommended oil in(correct viscosity and amount), the engine started knocking real bad. so I let it warm up and drained it again and put more ,this finally alleviated the noise. the cause was they put a oil treatment in the engine, so customers would not here that noise. the vehicle also had two different(very close) tires on it. when I thought it was safe after fixing these issues,meaning more expense. I drove it on the interstate the first good bump I went over the steering column and wheel jumped up about three inches.Now that will wake you up in the morning,also at the same time the car bounced to one side,were I could have lost control of the vehicle,injuring myself or others. If the vehicle was REBUILT as it should have been, and SAFETY inspected correctly, Not just rigged to run and thrust through the inspection. I would not be doing this , or maybe I am lucky I can wright this, and hopefully keep someone else safe. Thank you and God Bless.
