This review is for install but follow up on an issueWith the initial install could not be happierCounters look greatmonths later in the middle of the night the sink falls outIt was installed with epoxy glue onlyThere was no supports installed with it to back up the glueHad the $supports been installed as well when done the first time this never would have happenI contacted them to have the issue fixedSpoke with someone and they said the owner was not in and they would call back In the mean time we have no sink, no dishwasher in the kitchen again back to washing in the tubWe waited full days for a call backWhen no call came we contacted another local company they were there the next morningThey reinstalled the sink properly with epoxy and supportsWe were able to use it that nightNew Stone Age did call back days laterWhile we are very happy with the countertops the install of the sink not at all as well of the lack of service qualityNot doing it right the first time upsets us, a $set of braces would have saved us $on the fix plus the plumbers time time for all the hook ups
A had a pro measure my countertop using New Stone Age webite calculation sheetHowever the sales girl did not calculate the dimensions correctly from what I gave herSo the estimate was lower than it should of beenThis was not discovered till after I signed the contract and the installer finished the templateI showed the installer my calculation sheet and he saw the errorFor the long run, the two correct numbers were not used to calculate the lengthI was going to cancel and eat the $cancellation fee till they agreed to do the job for what they quotedI thought all was well till after they installed the countertopThey told me I had to do the initial sealing at my cost and leftAs I was wiping down the counter that just did not look good since it was so very dull, I found a pretty big chipI looked on their website to see how to fix this and read all granite is professionally sealed before leaving their shopI called and within a half hour the installer was back with sealer and filled in the chipThis process took less than minutesIt probably would have been fine but the granite was not cleaned well before the sealer was put onSo now I feel like I wipe down sandpaper when I clean my granite countertopIts been months and it just finally is really bothering me they are still roughWish I would have just cancelled the order and went with my other quote
