show that he can do quality work. I informed him that everything I was telling him had been sent to him in emails and he admitted that he did not read them because he thought I was "venting."
He admitted that he had not paid attention much to my job.
I sent you (Revdex.com) the pictures of his work. He explained that he does not get permits until after the job is complete, even though I was very specific in his getting the permits first and everything being [redacted]e well. His getting the permits first was essential to my hiring him. He also still thinks that I changed my mind and that is why he purchased the wrong sizes of cabinets.
At this point, I feel that I cannot trust this man/company to do any work properly. Not one thing was [redacted]e to specifications or code. He still wants more money to "finish" the job. I just cannot believe that the work that was [redacted]e in my home would be [redacted]e any differently than the way it was [redacted]e. The damage and stress has been tremendous. The owner will not "fix' any of the prior work without requiring that I give him more money.
I would like my money back and his license revoked due to the amount of incompetence shown in this job.Sincerely,[redacted]
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The contractor has reached out to me several times. I finally agreed to meet with him. Yes, I took down the cabinets because they were falling, having been put in with 2 screws each into drywall. At that time, I found mold growing on the wall they installed and never should have. There was never any thought of mine to sell the cabinets to my sister or anyone else. Mr. [redacted] has added that. The cabinets needed to be removed to move them to the proper locations. I have NEVER changed my mind on what I wanted or needed. Mr. [redacted] has added and subtracted cabinets according to what he thought instead of actually listening to me. HE BOUGHT THE WRONG SIZES! Mr. [redacted] has not in any way offered to fix anything for free. It will all be at an undisclosed cost.
I was leaving town and did decline any further help from Mr. [redacted] because he did not actually say he would fix anything or clean anything up for free. He just offered to do that. Again, unless I am there I cannot trust Mr. [redacted] to do quality work.
With regards to the permits, I have been very clear that this job needs to be [redacted]e legally. He explained to me that he prefers to get the permits at the end of a job so that the city does not come more than once. I explained that I need them to come whenever they need to come according to the permit process. This is non negotiable for me.
I have already submitted numerous emails and texts regarding what has happened. I am out of town and will call his references when I return. This will be [redacted]e in order to determine if the job can actually be completed by Mr. [redacted].
Sincerely,[redacted]
