Sept9, 2016To Whom It May Concern,I David P*** the owner of D & S Auto Detailing located @ *** ** *** *** Newark, Ohio, am replying to a matter of a Toyota Sienna van owned by *** ***I am an ex-boyfriend of Ms*** and was selected by her and her insurance company to
provide services for her vanShe had got mad and came an picked the van up once, then brought it back days later and wanted us to complete the scheduled workWe did the work, however, Ms*** was told after her rental car time expired and had needed her van that she would have to bring it back for the paint to get wet sanded and buffed out as you have to give the paint time to curealso the door was not replaced, due to the original estimate of $and Ms*** already receiving $so I got $1,for the job and she refused to pay the $to D & SThe door alone was going cost $to replace along w/ $in suppliesI can't do that job for $300, so we repaired the door to best that it could come as the metal was weak after getting crushedWe have been in business for over years and never once had a complaint about our work until now an ex girlfriend trying to downgrade us as she also got mad months ago and called the OSHA on usThey since found us not in violation and closed the case.Sincerely, David P***

I am rejecting this response because:  I want to state that this complaint has nothing to do with mine and Mr. P[redacted]'s personal relationship or previous wedding engagement as he is technically an ex fiance/boyfriend.  This complaint has to do with him accepting my insurance money and supposed to do a job and he did not complete what he said he would and what he did do was done terribly.  I had picked up the car on August 22nd but then took it back on Aug 23rd, the very next day not days later as he stated in his response.  Also after picking my van up on August 30th Mr. P[redacted] did state I could bring the van back for him to wet sand it to see if it would fix the terrible paint job however on August 31st the very next day he went and filed a false CPO request (a copy of this information can be provided) which means potentially I may not be able to contact him so how was I supposed to contact him to bring the van back? I also tried to call his business phone a few times and was ignored. He therefore did not even hold up his offer to try and fix the paint, not to mention that will not fix the door that he puttied which is bubbling and looks terrible. He also stated that I owed him more money which is a lie as you will see in the attached letter that Mr. P[redacted] signed.   I am not sure why he refers to the work he did as "we" when he is the only one who did the work.  I have also been informed that a homeless female who may be on drugs is now at his shop daily and I really don't feel comfortable even going there. I honestly would just like my money back due to the fact he did not do all the work he was supposed to do (he offered to detail it and fix scratches in the other door and he did neither) and the work he did do was terrible.  The bubbling is getting worse every day and where he puttied has a huge bubble starting where he rushed and did not do it correctly.  This matter may just have to be taken to court if it cannot be resolved in a mature manner.Regards, [redacted]
