***,Thanks so much for the reminder!*** and I are working very closely with *** *** and *** ***, even before the complaint As we always inform our customers, getting solar is a process and even takes longer when you're working with the City of Kansas City and KCP&L, since
both can get very busy and we don't have any control of their processes.The City required rafter reinforcements, which is normally the expense of homeowner, but we covered it for them, which was almost $1,to fix and meet the City requirement Additionally, we offered them some lost solar production for the extra time they have waited for the City to get back to us regarding this reinforcement and the corresponding permit The main reason for the delay is that the City was bombarded with permit requests, inspections, etcaround the time we were trying to resolve this additional permit The delay lasted about three months Although we have been informative, we always try to keep customers from being involved in all the minutia when it comes to the City of Kansas and KCP&L However, this is the exact type of detail *** and *** wanted to know and didn't feel we were providing enough information Well, since the complaint was filed, we have been over communicative and very detailed in all the information we have been providing and they are very satisfied with our progress and communication since then.Also, although it was a shot at our company and integrity, there was a CaseNet file *** mentioned which has nothing to do with another customer, but rather with a subcontractor We are working to resolve this debt with them directly We used them last year on four separate installs, since our two crews were extremely busy, since it rained for about six weeks straight and we were up against a required time frame to deliver theseinstallations Anyway, this general contractor took advantage of us by agreeing to a contract with us, which was already a very high proposal and then submitting change orders on each of these projects Well, we paid for three of the projects and this suit was about the fourth project, where we feel they took the most advantage of us We will never use them again, but we will pay their bill, even though it will make us lose close to $10,on this specific installation I hope this helps answer any questions regarding this complaint and how we will always try to do our best in both customer service and complaint resolution, so that ultimately our customer is very happy with doing business with us Please let me know if you have any questions Thanks again for allowing us to respond!Regards,*** ***PresidentSolar Rich Power LLC3rd Street, Lower LevelAlma, MO 64001Email: ***[email protected]: 816.863.9779 Alma Office: 660.674.2431Lees Summit Office: 816.874.7094www.solarrichpower.com
