Before we had put the house deposits down and 100% cost of upgrades we asked the following questions,
Would we still have the accent wall even though we didn't have the fireplace? To which they answered yes!
If we do not upgrade to the shower in the powder room what will happen with the foot gap? To which they answered , the toilet will be budged down!
In the entry way, as we are installing our own flooring how much tile will be there? To which they answered, with a small 2xsection
Now we are a few weeks from closing we have no wall, there is a huge gap and the toilet has not been budged down and we have been told the tile is now 4xWe are outraged
We approached the sales team and with there extremely rude response, " what do you expect us to do about it? I think you should go find a new home"
We are now finding out that they had told us what we wanted to hear just to push a sale!!!
This is our first time home and Woodside has made this a stressful nightm

When we bought the house we were shown the modelWe like the model and everything it had to offerHe made a few upgrades of our own and left a few off but when we moved into the new house it was the sameThey had switch up companies on multiple contractorsIn the model they have returns built into the floor boardsOur house has three massive greats in one areaWe paid for an office and they never put a return into itWoodside told us it was because of a beamThey never said a word and thought they had a fix by the gap under the doorThis didn’t workIn the summer the room reaches tempetures of 80+ unless I leave the door openIn the winter the room is freezing coldThey wanted to cut a hole in the wall and put a grate in thereWe said no cause it’s another grate in the entry way and it’s not a real solutionIt’s a quick fix and it’s uglyThey also can’t guarentee it will work

Purchased a home with Woodside homes in Layton Utah last June The house has several major issues, the garage concrete cracking, stain and not leveled The ac unit that was installed by their contractor is not an energy efficient and cost a lot of many for electric bill and it takes an hour or more to cool than the house The contractor is installing a machine that is so cheap than the home owners will pay a big price every month (Lennox 13ACX) that has a poor rating Missing a lot of AC vents and Air return, vents that are placed differently and at the wrong placed Couple of rooms reach as high as degrees, submitted a complaint to fix it first week of July and they still haven't fix it One of the room temperature goes so Warm even if the weather outside is below 65degrees The house has a lot of major issue, should have been tested before they certified it as ready for occupancy The whole summer is gone and my AC problem was ignored and the President even to

Backstory
When we moved into the house on our initial walk through before signing paperwork we felt an uneven floor in our upstairs loftIt is a noticeable unevenness that you can feel as you walk across it When we brought it up to Ashley H*** with Woodside she said she would talk to the framer and see what could be doneShe came back to us a day later and said that all the Amesbury floor plans have that issue and that the guy who would fix it would only come out once to fix any squeaks or floor issues and if he were to come out now to take care of it he wouldn’t come out any other time after to fix any issue or squeaks that may come up as things settleWe weren’t happy about it but decided to live with it until we got closer to our year anniversary (Aug 2018)As time went on, it drove us more and more nuts so we reached out again to Ashley H*** to get it taken care of as well as any squeaks that happened in the meantimeBelow is the chronology of events:

We purchased a home with Woodside June 2017, since day one we had many issue of below standard workmanship, a major issue we complaint was the HVAC, after over a year of living in harsh condition, we managed to proved through the J load manual filed in the City that was altered without the City' knowledge, was totally different from the actual layout and does not even met half of the required CFM calculation on the J manual
Woodside finally started to take our case seriooiusly and started to fix the problem, however, I noticed that the chain of events had cause some concerns Woodside Rep who is in charged of the repair is not supervising nor checking the end result of each work done during the repair
weeks ago, our AC unit was replaced by a higher tonnage, and the HVAC contractor they hired failed to properly charge the system causing the unit to released hot air instead of a cold air, For one week my family endured a miserable situation on a over degrees Utah tempe

We purchased a home thru Woodside Homes in Syracuse Utah last June We decided to go with Woodside homes because of their Company's Mission of Integrity Value, Quality, and Service When we visited their model home, we love the structural design and the comfort of atmosphere inside the model home We moved in June and after a week our AC unit malfunction and waited a month to be repaired when the outside temperature goes over a degrees I have to hired a HVAC professional to check the unit and found out the unit is hardly pushing the hot air, and this is the only time Woodside sent someone to sent someone to fix it A few months ago I submitted a complaint to Revdex.com about my complaint and out of the complaint only one was taken care of by Woodside which is the garage floor that was cracking, stain and uneven grade level, they did fix it last September 2017, however after a month, it cracked worst than the first time, I informed Woodside and I was told concrete c

Woodside Homes has been extremely unresponsive to fix warranty issuesWe purchased a new home from them which includes a 1-year warrantyWe did the initial walk-through and filed several items that needed repairOnly some were fixedThrough-out the year we continued to get Woodside to fix the problems, but they were unresponsive to many of the issuesWe did our final, 1-year walk-through and again filed many of the same issuesNow, months later, these issues have still not been resolvedI have emailed them multiple times and don't get a response
One particular issue was a leak in the laundry room plumbingThis has caused drywall damage and possible mold inside the wallAfter several contacts, they finally send a technician out, but the technician didn't fix the issueI reported it again and still have not received a response
