Review: Around 3 pm EST I received a call on my home phone from ###-###-####. The caller identified herself as a representative of DSS Research. She asked to speak to [redacted] (I only use my full first name for credit card or legal transactions). Me,"This is she." DSS asked for my birthday. When I only gave the month and day she asked how old I was. I was started to feel uncomfortable and gave an a number that was in my general demographic but not an accurate date. She then said,"Alright bye".

I quickly asked for the company's name. DSS Research was repeated. I asked for the address and was told she could not give it to me - that it was policy or she wasn't allowed to give it out. This is not a direct quote. I said,"You asked me for identifying information but you won't give me your address? " Well were in Fort Worth." By now I had looked it up and the company did exist I asked for a number and was given 1[redacted]5. I asked for a supervisor. After several minutes, a women, [redacted]? listened to the recap and did the "uha, yes, well mam. I I tried to call the first number given, "I'm sorry, that number is not active in your area code." I tried another that was given, [redacted] same answer. I called the # on the web page, [redacted] and got [redacted] the business manager. Did the tale again and got put on hold. [redacted] said I would be contacted by [redacted]. It is 6pm and no call.Desired Settlement: I am afraid they have enough personal information to steal my identity. On the other hand if someone is reported or fired I'm afraid someone will take/use the info out of spite. I don't know how to protect my accounts and my identity after the fact.
