The job they performed is not satisfied by the homeowner nor the home inspector. The business refused to put rock in the ditch and cover it. He said he was not going to do anything else. As far as he is concern he fixed the problem. The erosion is getting worse and the ditch is eroding away. The work will have to be done again to fix the mess he made costing me more money. According to the home inspector and the insurance company the Business made a total mess of the property. I feel the business should pay for the work that needs to be done. The soil that was move to create the ditch is still on the property. The business should be held accountable for correcting the problem but the owners said they could not and will not do anything else. I should be able to get my money back to have the job done correct. I have already contacted other companies to give me an estimate on the job. They were totally surprise at what they saw. Also after D & S finished the job they had put dirt around the well and when it rained mud went into the well and the water. We had to fix that problem also. Wish you could see it.

Review: Contracted D & S Vaughan to do some yard work for drainage problem Work performed by company was not done satisfactorily. Need to have the work done again according to the Home Inspector and for insurance purposes.Desired Settlement: Money back for work not completed up to code per Home Inspector and insurance purposes. the company responded by letter they will not fix the problem because the work was completed to their satisfaction.

Revdex.com spoke with the business. This customer’s home is built at the bottom of a hill so there is water that runs down the hill under the customer’s home. This business was hired to detour the water from running under the customer’s home. The business dug a ditch and tested it to make sure the water was no longer running under the home. After the business finished the job the customer called and said she did not like the ditch and wanted it filled in with the old dirt. The dirt had been given away by the customer but the business offered suggestion to make the ditch appear better to the eye. Landscape or rocks were suggested. The customer wanted the business to pay for this. This is not the job the business was hired to do and declined to take part in another job with this customer. This job was finished 6-8 months ago.
