This man/company took my money and then cancelled three timesThen he said he had a Vertigo problem that caused him to lose balance without noticeI asked him for proof of insurance as advertised, and he told me that he did not have any insurance

I work all day. On Saturday morning when the post office is closed, I take classes. I cannot get to the post office to sign a certified letter. He should have sent it by regular mail or email. Still, I recorded our conversation when he first came to my house. He had agreed to install a roof heater, although the electrical work would be extra. Then he reversed his decision and said the installation of the roof heaters would be extra.
He cancelled multiple times, and not just once as he claims.
The first cancellation: Thursday, December 24, I gave him permission; it was Christmas eve.

He texted me and said that he would give the money back. Then he changed his mind. I saved the text as evidence. He told Angie's list that he would refund the money so that he could get off the "Penalty Box" list. Then he never sent the money. When I reported to Angie's list that he had lied and did not, in fact, return my money, they put him in the penalty box again. The definition of telling Angie's List that he would send back the money, and then not doing it is called FRAUD. 
I'm sure he didn't know that I recorded the conversation and figured it would be safe to cheat me. It is legal to record conversations: OhioRev. Code § 2933.52.

Business indicated he has tried to reach out to the consumer but has not been able to contact her. He is still willing to perform the repairs however, the consumer has ignored his attempts to resolve the matter....

Business tried to contact the consumer via certified mail but the consumer never signed for the letter. The letter was a release for the consumer to sign indicating if he became ill or injured on the job she would not be held liable.
He is asking the consumer to contact him directly at  (440) 310-6226  so he can coordinate a date and time to begin the job.

Through our home warranty D Stephens Construction was sent out to our home to fix a hole in the ceiling from a leak we had. He came out one time to assess the hole to figure drywall and what it would take. Told us he would be back in touch. Danny was not very reliable. He was too busy to ever fit into our schedule. About 2 months go by, I contact the home warranty company to get another contractor out or just to figure out what the situation was, and apparently D Stephens Construction filed to our warranty company that the job was completed with no issues. Very unprofessional.
