Review: This place is bad business period. You, do not want to do business with this place in any way whatsoever. Take your money, please go somewhere else.

I bought this Toyota Camry from these people DT Automotive in Mailiili. You could not find any reviews about this company anywhere. The car started to smoke as soon as I took a long drive to town. The car was smoking enormously. It smelt like oil. I took it back to them and got attitude and was afraid for my safety. I felt like I may be assaulted and in danger. Well they said they could only find a broken oil valve. I brought it there before and was told it may be a transmit ion gasket. I also got a tune up which cost me around a 150 dollars. The car died today September 23 2013. It's at the Waianae Longs drug store in the parking lot. Do not do business with DT Automotive whatsoever.Desired Settlement: 1400 dollars what I paid for the car period. You can have your lemon back give me my money back. I'm a poor student and I will seed litigation referencing the Hawaii Lemon Law. I will come to your establishment tomorrow with data referencing the Hawaii Lemon Law statues.

Aloha my name is [redacted], the [redacted] of DT Automotive for the last 23yrs,my response to the complaint file by this customer at no time did my self or anybody that is employed by DT Automotive has ever made this customer feel unsafe at my place of business. If anything I myself went out of my way to make him feel as if we were concerned of his problem even if he signed the invoice for the purchase of the vehicle that he brought was sold as is and I explain to him that if the vehicle had a problem we would fix it at a discount but no for free he agreed and sign the agreement.He called my shop and he was the one making treats to my employee about some members family and what they do. I know that I cannot please everybody but We try our best to help people we are a fair and honest business out here in Waianae, Thanks for your time and for the fix in all of this we both agreed to a refund in the sum of 1300.00 dollars on 9/27/13 even if I didn't have to thank you, [redacted].

He has given me my money back of 1300 dollars. This place is bad buisiness and I have had nothing but problems dealing with people from Waianae. Be very cautious doing business on the Leeward coast of Oahu. These people in Waianae/on the Leeward coast feel as if they can be intimidating and may use violence. Be again very cautious when dealing with any business on the Leeward coast of Oahu. I'm a very respected student/scholar. Many has had problems with this company in the past. Be very cautious yet again I would like to state when doing business with anyone on the Leeward coast of Oahu. This person has an attitude and is bad business period. I've reieved my money and will take no further action. This individual is [redacted] and a [redacted] individual who leaves bad taste within ones mouth, spirit, heart and mind. Do not do business with this individual and yet again be cautious when doing business on the Leeward coast of Oahu.
