We purchased this "new" Kirby vacuum back in May. We might have used it 3-4 times at the most and the start switch shorted out. We called the company and they've promised to send a technician and that has been well over a month. We've never seen the technician. The metal on the vacuum is starting to rust and pit in places and I believe it is refurbished.
