D T Miraculous

On 1/2/2012 I signed a contract with DT Miraculous LLC (personally run by [redacted]. I wanted to have him enclose a small portion of a 1 bedroom wall to make a pantry on the opposite wall. I also wanted him to build a wall to enclose a bedroom and to place a set of French Doors for the bedroom door. He told me it was going to be done in 3 days except for the installation of a special order french door. I told him I wanted glass grids in the doors. He told me I didn't want them because the doors were into a bedroom and people would see in. I told him I had special plans for the privacy issue. I also told him I wanted to eventually replace the doors with 6 panel doors. He told me I didn't want that either. (I do not recall the reason he gave me telling me why I didn't want doors....in MY house!!) I gave him a check for the initial downpayment of $935.00 (check#[redacted]) made out to [redacted] on 1 /2/2012. He started immediately by taking measurements and since I had problems 'seeing' in my head what it would look like He measured and placed tape on the floor so I'd get an idea of what it would look like. He had asked me how I felt about fraternizing on the job. (He had been dating on of my nurses who worked with my daughter.) I told him I didn't want to see it) During this time of the reno my nurse remained professional and didn't encourage or patricipate in anything except her job. She had to take my daughter to the clinic several times and when she left, with [redacted] (Daughter) she did not seek [redacted] out to say good-bye, she just left and did her job! [redacted] asked me several times where my nurse was and why did she not seek him out to say good-by or give him a kiss good-bye. (I didn't know and didn't care) After 3 days the walls were not built or dry walled, they stiil were not done on Friday as I asked him when he was going to be done when he wasn't done after the 3 days, he told me he would be done The following week.
