D & T Tires and Auto

Review: About a month ago I purchased tires for my Infiniti g35 sedan. D&T Tires gave a good deal for the cost of tires and "full" installation. I paid everything in cash and received a hand written receipt for my payment out of a generic receipt book. Since getting the new tires I have had more trouble with the way my car drives and handles then when I had my old worn out tires on the car. I have called D&T Tires several times for the issues I was having since the tires were put on & brought my car back over there twice. The tires were not balanced, the manager insisted that they were, and the tires were each inflated with 15lbs too much air. About a week ago I went to D & T Tire to see about getting a refund for work they charged me for beings I had to bring my car somewhere else and pay to have the work done properly. We spoke to the shop manager and he thought it was proper to over inflate the tires, keep my old weights on the tires(not knowing if they were needed or not), and not balance them properly. My rims on my car are completely scratched around each lug from them taking the rims and tires off my car.He claimed he went by how much air the tire itself called for rather then what the car actually called for. Which even following what the tire called for it was still too much. Any car that has tire sensors the slightest difference in what the car& tire call for will make a big difference. Because of their being too much air in each tire it caused my car to become severely out of alignment. He believed it was unfair for him to have to give me any kind of refund because he "did his job". Of course he was pleased with the CASH I paid for the tires&his "work". And also stated that he had no proof of knowing that I actually went have work done somewhere else after offering to show him a detailed receipt with pictures of the work done. Which he refused to even look at the receipt from the other business. I promised him he would get some advertising out of this. Well, I wouldn't bring one of my nephews hot wheel cars to this man for service.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the price I paid($40) for my tires to be balanced by this company. I had to again pay($40) another repair shop to balance my tires because D&T Tire did not balance them. I paid a total of $80 for my tires to be balanced because it wasn't done by D&T and was tired of them giving me the run around and claiming they fixed the problem.
