We are a trucking company that deals with brokers for long haul freight. We have a carrier - broker agreement with Bay & Bay Brokerage which we honored each time we hauled a load for them, but now, on 8/22/12 we booked a load from TX to OH which was supposed to be 42k lbs and end up being 45k lbs and we requested that the weight was to cut because that's what the agreement states and our driver can't handle more than that. They did call the shipper and arrange for the weight to be cut, we delivered on time without any issues and now I just found out that they put us on NO LOAD LIST which means that no other office of Bay & Bay Brokerage can book loads with my company. This is very bad for business and we just want them to reconsider and be fair to us, the carrier, because we did our job and we did it the right way. This is bad business for my company and my drivers and everyone would have to suffer because of a one man mistake - their employ [redacted] which was told at time of booking this load that this truck can not haul more then 42k lbs and he did confirm that this is the right weight and he put it on the rate agreement that was faxed to us.
