I cancelled my account with Directv.Directv debited my account before the agreed upon payment date of July 09,2014.
I cancelled my Directv account on June 07,2014.The rep,Juan did not tell me that there would be an early cancellation fee.On June 10,2014 I spoke to [redacted] an account manager.He told me that my account would be prorated and my final bill would be $98.76.
I asked [redacted] if I could make that payment on July 09,2014. [redacted] said,yes,I could.On 07-03-2014 I found out from my bank that Directv had made a withdrawl from my checking account on 06-28-2014. This caused an overdraft of my checking account.Directv also accessed my account a $10.00 early cancellation fee of the protection plan.My dispute is,Directv did not allow me the agreed upon time to pay to close out my account.They also charged me more than the amount stated by [redacted],the account manager.
