Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Setting aside the caustic tone and unsubstantiated rhetoric in the previous response, the dispute at hand is predicated on the failure to deliver on the original contract guarantee. Raw sewage drainage was never restored. All the homeowner received was a damaged toilet, and severely water damaged ceilings, walls, and carpeting beneath the stated repair. All that followed were 33 days of unfulfilled promises to locate the problem. Despite multiple requests for a written estimate for any additional charges the response was always "more time was needed to locate the source". At no time did contractor ever provide requested written estimate for any pending and/or future charges. The invoice claims now being submitted were provided after the fact to the homeowner, 17 days after contractor failed to respond to previously attached final email request for a written estimate.

The invoice claims now being submitted were provided after the fact to the homeowner, 17 days after contractor failed to respond to previously attached final email request for a written estimate. To this date, homeowners have not contested the original charge which in fact proved to be fraudulent. Nor are we even seeking reparation for the water damages caused by gross negligence. We are adamant though, that any alleged work performed failed to locate the true source of the issue, and provided zero tangible benefits to us as homeowners. Billing after the fact for unlimited hours at an unapproved rate for work that was never authorized is fraudulent. Attempting to now extort $6,000 just to identify the problem is blackmail. All this in addition, to repeatedly failing to provide a requested written estimate to actually fix the issue only further perpetrates the scam. Never identifying the root cause is grand larceny.
Unsubstantiated personal attacks on our family name are completely false. All parties who resolved the mess left behind by said contractor have been paid in full at the agreed upon estimate. As a matter of principal, the plumbing contractor who completed the job was compensated for additional time and material well above his original written estimate due to main break never identified by original contractor requiring significant additional resources. In spite of increased final project scope, work was completed by replacement contractor within 48 hours while original contractor walked out on consumer over one month after issue was first reported. As a contractor, 30+ year homeowner, and man of faith, one's reputation stands above all else. At no time, have any contractors and/or bills associated to me or my wife have ever gone unpaid. This can be substantiated through our employment history, tax records, credit scores, public records, and social media. All statements to the contrary are completely fabricated. The previously submitted email attachment from Feb. 8th illustrates the continued misstatement of facts and unreasonable communication throughout the process. The content of the email brings to light suddenly requiring an immediate same day check for $4K made out to a newly named 3rd party. Clearly this should have been mentioned during multiple conversations up and thru the previous business day to allow homeowners to discuss and research over the weekend. As usual, all homeowners received previously were conflicting messages whether a landscape contractor had even been contacted. Plus continued promises to fix the problem never materialized. With excuse after excuse backing unsubstantiated claims such as the alleged video were "lost".The second email attachment further substantiates fact that contractor failed to respond to final written request for detailed estimate. Failing to get any type of return communication, homeowner reached out to several reputable industry experts who satisfactorily completed all work within 48 hours. -Consumers Rights Matter

As we stated before we charged for work we did at the Sakamoto residence we do not bill for work before, we bill after the work is done.We could not complete the work as the homeowners could not be reached by phone or email. They wanted an estimate for their rockery to be removed and we provided them with that estimate. Never did we ask for 4000.00 dollars that is a completely false statement. Again the rockery company required half down for work to begin. We tried to reach the homeowners so the equipment could be dropped off, the rockery removed so we then could do the repair. That repair never took place because they never called us back. that does not negate the fact that we did previous work to locate the problem which is the bill in question. We are not asking to be paid for a repair we didn't do only for all the time we spent on multiple days helping the homeowner locate the problem. We will turn this over to our attorney if we do not receive payment.
Thank you,
