we took a chair to be reupholstered 2 months ago. it was supposed to be done in two weeks. We have still not received the chair back. Excuses
The chair was dropped off on August 30 it was supposed to be reupholstered and ready for a birthday on September 20. There was supposed to be a quote and approval on that quote it was never sent. They then called the day that it was supposed to be delivered and told us that it would be $1500. We told them no way and we wanted the chair back. They couldn't do that because it was already tore apart. We believe this was not true. We negotiated and we told the owner we would only pay 750 for the chair. We have still never seen the material that the chair is to be refinished in. We talked with them the end of september and told them we would bring in 750. we took the money in to get the chair back. delivery has been missed two times and they now tell us they can't get it back because they use a company in Richland mi to reupholster and they are on vacation for two weeks. I believe they used our money for other things and they have not even taken the chair in to get it worked on.
