Already met with a mediator about this issue.This is his response:Already refunded her $ [redacted] for a nick on the table that was noted the day of the move.Other damages she is claiming were not done by their business.The mattress was not able to be wrapped up like it was when it was new.Furniture was stored in her storage facility so what happened to her things after the move was complete is unknown.Business does not feel as they are responsible for replacing the mattressOnce her furniture was placed in the storage facility the blankets from the business were removed so damage may have occurred after the move was complete.Since no damage was noted immediately following the move it is not clear when damages may have been incurred[redacted]

I have requested receipts for services paid- have not received I have requested the necessary paperwork that should have been given to me for moving services which includes the Bill of Lading - have not receivedI have requested a refund for minutes of labor for the time his men took a detour to get something to eat/drink, for the time Alec V*** spent at the storage ranting/raving instead of working and for the time his crew member "rounded up" service chargesAlec did not make me aware of their "round up" policyPerhaps it's noted in the Bill of Lading, which is a document that was not given to me as required by movers Alec can select a browser (Google is one of many) to research how to transport foam mattresses Thousands are transported each year rolled up or flatHe's not a manufacturer of foam mattresses so he is not qualified to dispute manufacturers that doAlec inquired about the service by text on 05/31/@2:pmI responded by text on 05/31/@5:pm letting him know there was damageI intentionally scheduled his company to complete the move on 06/18/just in case there was further damageAlec stated that he would be one of the crew members to complete the move on 06/18/I showed him the damage to the dining room table at the storage facility which was when he began to rant and rave that I had to ask him to stopAlec was shown the damage to the dresser when it was placed in the new homeIn addition to the scratches and compression on the wood, Alec was shown where there were white streaks on the furniture that looked like they were from the dresser having been hit on the front door's white wooden frameAlec is not a professional furniture restorer so he is not in a position to dispute those who are Alec is not qualified to make a proper assessment of the costs to restore the furniture that he damaged

A copy of the check that he states he refunded me in the amount of $[redacted].  2. A copy of the bill of lading for moving my household goods on 05/31/2016. 3. A copy of the bill of lading for moving my household goods on 06/18/2016. 4. A receipt for my payment on 05/31/2016.5. A receipt for my payment on 06/18/2016. 6. A copy of the document that he is stating "no damage was noted immediately following the move". I clearly indicated on the document that there was damage & texted him on the same day to let him know there was damage. I also requested a copy of the document and the crew member stated that Alec would be sending it to me. I never received it. 7. A copy of the document that lets his customers know that charges are "rounded up" on the half hour. The work was completed at 16 minutes after the hour and I was billed for the full 30 minutes.  Thanks again for your time.  I do hope he provides you with all (7) copies of documents. These documents should have been provided before and/or at the time of service. Promises were made that they would be but were never produced by the owner.  Please contact me should you need further information.  Regards, [redacted]
