This is a response to complaint ID [redacted] D'Angelo's Plumbing & Heating has successfully settled the disputed matter with our customer Simply put, we failed to perform our work perfectly and professionally We were hired to replace a sink and the job was completed the same day The quality of workmanship was not acceptable Our installer damaged the sink slightly and chipped the existing counter tops We tried to find a positive solution to the problems we caused, but at the end of the day, D'Angelo's decided to cover the cost of replacing the counter tops We have cut a check to the customer for $1, This is in addition to refunding the original service fee D'Angelo's Plumbing & Heating is a good solid service company We are committed to providing our customers with the best quality work and the best service Sometimes we fall short of those expectations and that was certainly the case here We did not run from this issue and handled it with our customer We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint.Thanks,Jeffrey Bl [redacted] Operations ManagerD'Angelo's Plumbing & Heating

D'Angelo's will NOT be refunding this customer for services rendered We DID provide the customer with positive and quality service We were able to open the sewer and get the drains flowing After opening the drain, our technician placed a camera down the pipe to visually inspect the pipesBased upon that inspection, it was my technician's opinion that the sewer needed to be replaced We then quoted for the sewer replacement as permanent solution The customer then called the town in to inspect Keep in mind the town inspected AFTER we cleaned the drain They would not have been able to video inspect the pipe without us First performing this service Let me repeat, without us first providing the service, the town would not have been able to give their assessment The sewer has separated in the ground and is now allowing roots to grow into the pipe This root growth is causing the blockages Until it is addressed (by repairing the sewer) the blockages will keep occurring D'Angelo's DID refuse to provide FREE services to this customer We are not in business to give away our services and expertise This is not a warranty or quality of work situation This is a penny-pinching customer refusing to take responsibility for their own home's problems I imagine that when the sewer backs up again (it is just a matter of time), that they will demand yet more free service from [redacted] I also image they will decline to do the next round of work for Free as well

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. First of all, DAngelo did NOT provide me with positive and quality service for the following reasons: 1) D'Angelo's did a video inspection of the pipeThe technician was only able to get to camera to approximately 63' 5" in the pipe before hitting an obstruction that would not allow visibility past that pointThe explanation provided during the video inspection at that point was that "something shifted inside the pipe and that was blocking the drain." The recommendation for the blockage was a replacement of the pipeThe fact that the town video inspected the drain after D’Angelo mere days later and was only able to get to the same approximate place before hitting the obstruction that was blocking the pipeThis showed the same findings as the D'Angelo video inspection in that the pipe could not be completely inspected since there was still a blockage AFTER the drain was cleanedWhen I had called D'Angelo's back and asked about this finding. I was informed that it is not atypical to have the sewer pipe clog again from roots within a week after cleaningAdditional cleanings would cost me $eachThey also said that since they had already recommended the replacement of the pipe they had provided the solution to the problemThere were no new blockagesThe town viewed the same blockage that was never cleared by D’Angelo2) After I had the pipes cleaned by the other company, I called the town for a visual inspection with a camera the next dayThis second video revealed that the original blockage had been cleared and the camera was able to get to approximately 103' to the mainThere were no other issues visible causing back-ups to occurThe pipes appeared in good condition and not needing to be replacedThe problem was the obstruction which had not been thoroughly clearedThis case is visible in all of the videos with auditory comments taken after the clean-out by D'AngelosI have copies of the video inspections that support my assertions

I am disappointed that our customer felt the need to contact the Revdex.com instead of reaching out to us D'Angelo's is a really good company and we always help our customers I understand the customer's frustration and we are willing to discuss a proper solutionI will be contacting the

Consumer contacted Revdex.com who spoke with the business' GM who agree to refund $ Company was supposd to send an email about such Consumer had received nothing from the busienss since Monday
