First, I want to thank the Revdex.com for being an impartial platform where business and customers alike are able to discuss and hopefully resolve disputes in a rational and professional manner Secondly, I would like to reiterate that the client was only charged for work performed; receiving a very generous friends/family discount All changes made by Ms [redacted] were documented and given to her in a timely manner - with consent to continue At the end of the job, the client inspected and approved the entirety of the project before we accepted final payment as per our policyThe client paid the balance and even asked us to return after the holiday for yet additional work Please understand that trades/work outside of Da Vinci Painting Services (DPS) was getting done at the clients house when we finished (i.ecarpeting, blind removal, electrical, furniture moving, etc)Which in most cases leads to the need for touchups We offered to come back to touch up any work that the may need it, free of charge as a courtesy DPS prides itself on quality of work and customer satisfaction and would absolutely never bill/accept payment for work that was not performed or performed under the clients satisfaction In the attempt to schedule said work, the client refused to set a date Ms [redacted] pictures do not reflect the project as DPS left it We are very upset by the unjust allegations and the steps that have been taken in these acts of defamation by Ms [redacted] It is unfortunate that Ms [redacted] feels regretful of her decisions in regards to her projects But there will be no money returned as a result

Da Vinci Painting Services, LLC sincerely apologies for any misunderstandings or inconveniences associated with this completed projectOffering a high quality, attention to fine detail service is our main goal. While, excellent communication and customer service is our top priority throughout
the consulting, contracting, work being performed, and follow up phases of every one of our projects. We understand that hiring a contractor and performing renovations to your home, especially during the moving process, requires careful planning and expedient execution as to cause minimal discomfort/displacement. This was a small home renovation and painting project we were contracted to complete on our clients new homeWe were initially contacted to provide consultations and estimates for a range of workWe discussed with our client a list of services she was interested in: kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, the installation of new interior doors, carpet removal (to reveal preexisting hardwood floors), trim/moulding installation, interior painting and other cosmetic repairs/servicesThe goal was to help modernize the clients new home, while staying within her budgetAfter discussing associated costs for the projects being considered, the scope of the entire project was narrowed considerably by our client. Our client signed a contract for some of the work she was initially interested in having doneThe bulk of the total price was covering interior painting of the entire home, cosmetic repairs, cabinet re-finishing and carpet removal. Our client was very pleased with the work during the start of the project and added items to our original contractDuring the course of the project, amendments to the original contract were made and signed (hard copies and or emailed copies were given for records) detailing the addition of items, the edit/removal of others, along with their associated costsAdditions included; sub-floor replacement in bathrooms, Tile flooring in bathrooms, whole room added for painting, removal and re-grouting of a shower, and the installing new interior doors among several other items. Therefore, we’d like to note that the items our client is alleging she was charged for but not completed, were never outlined nor were they priced in our original contract or any subsequent amendments. Da Vinci Painting Services, LLC kept in constant communication with our client, outlining minor adjustments in daily emails, verbal communications, and creating amendments to our original contract for items with higher cost. Da Vinci Painting Services, LLC takes pride in offering a skilled service with an emphasis on customer service, and we never ask for payment until our client is fully satisfiedWe’ve performed thousands of projects and have a high rate of customer satisfaction and return business, and we think our record speaks for itself. We completed this project in a timely manner and we were paid in full following our clients inspection and approvalOur client lived in the home that we were working on, and as per our policy was given full opportunity to inspect our work and communicate any items to which she felt were an issue at the end and throughout the project. The client paid in full, inspected and approved all work that was completed, agreed upon, and priced during amendmentsAt no time was there any dialog or discussion around excessive work or incomplete work. The allegation that we charged for work that was not completed is falseThis allegation began two weeks after the completion of the project. We are upset with these allegations, especially considering this customer received a very generous Friends and Family discount. Any or all of the documents related to this allegation are available upon request

First, I want to thank the Revdex.com for being an impartial platform where business and customers alike are able to discuss and hopefully resolve disputes in a rational and professional manner.   Secondly, I would like to reiterate that the client was only charged for work performed; receiving a very generous friends/family discount.  All changes made by Ms. [redacted] were documented and given to her in a timely manner - with consent to continue.  At the end of the job, the client inspected and approved the entirety of the project before we accepted final payment as per our policy. The client paid the balance and even asked us to return after the holiday for yet additional work.   Please understand that trades/work outside of Da Vinci Painting Services (DPS) was getting done at the clients house when we finished (i.e. carpeting, blind removal, electrical, furniture moving, etc). Which in most cases leads to the need for touchups.  We offered to come back to touch up any work that the may need it, free of charge as a courtesy.  DPS prides itself on quality of work and customer satisfaction and would absolutely never bill/accept payment for work that was not performed or performed under the clients satisfaction.  In the attempt to schedule said work, the client refused to set a date.  Ms. [redacted] pictures do not reflect the project as DPS left it.   We are very upset by the unjust allegations and the steps that have been taken in these acts of defamation by Ms. [redacted].  It is unfortunate that Ms. [redacted] feels regretful of her decisions in regards to her projects.  But there will be no money returned as a result.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I do not accept Da Vinci's response.  The work performed on my house is unfinished, unprofessional and completely unsatisfactory.  I was overcharged and taken advantage of.  I attached several photos in my first correspondence.  It is clear I will need another professional to finish this job.   I, too, have copies of most correspondence and plenty of photos to back up my claim.   Please advise.
