I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here][redacted] was on the telephone with me at his store and I handed the phone over to him so they could explain that he needed to exchange the phone, also the phone was not broken it was defected, big difference. Instead of doing what was right he argued with the rep from the phone, and asked to speak with a supervisor who also stated he needed to exchange the phone.  Because this store would not exchange the phone, [redacted] had me go to a corporate store, the next town over, [redacted], and had that store exchange the phone out for me the next morning. no questions asked, they just did it.  Several [redacted] employees spoke with this gentleman about the policy and exchanging the phone and he refused.  The manager at the corporate store did state he was getting in touch with the field rep to have him call that store because [redacted]'s policy is a 14day exchange.Why would someone get a $600.00 phone and after 10 days think its ok to exchange for a refurbished one, its not.  My family and our business account will never use that store location again.  We wanted and always tried to support our town businesses. Again if the policy are not the same as [redacted] corporate store, then [redacted] should not allow retail store to sell their telephone plans, phones and accessories

In regards to the above referenced complaint number. It is very unfortunate incident. [redacted] and her family are our long time customer, and we appreciate their business a lot too. It is [redacted]’s policy that the we can exchange any non-[redacted] product, within 14 days of purchase...

if the customer doesn’t like it or has some malfunction (not due to physical or liquid damage), but exclusively with [redacted] products it states clearly, and that’s what they were advised too by everyone, that [redacted] warranty is handled by [redacted] itself, once the customer leaves the store.They purchased the device on 06/**/2015 from sales rep [redacted], and were advised clearly and thoroughly regarding the policy on [redacted] products purchased from [redacted] authorized retailor, like they have always been advised previously on all occasions also.Like she also mentioned at one point we were even willing to exchange the phone from our side citing the long term relationship we have with them and I even did send the email to [redacted] and wholesaler that im doing that, I got a email response from them right away that I can not do that, and it is against the procedures of [redacted].I have just send another email, and I’ll again get in touch with [redacted] to see if we can make some kind of exception in this case for them. As our personal relationship with them we will try to go above and beyond in this.

Review: Purchased an IPhone 6 on 6/*/2015, by 6/**/2015, phone did not turn on and screen was black, went to the [redacted] store and they say they can exchange it but it would be a refurbished phone, they did inform me that within 14 days the [redacted] store where I purchase it has to exchange it out for a new one in the box. I called [redacted] and they confirmed that I need to go to the store of purchase and they will exchange it. Well that did not happen, the manager at the store says its not his policy and [redacted] has to take care of it, again I explain that I will not except a refurbish phone after I paid $600.00 for a new one 10 days ago. I called the corporate office and they spoke to the store manager after about 2 hours he finally agreed to switch out the phone but he needed the box the phone came in, so I went home and returned back to the store but it was the wrong box, I bought two IPhone 6's that day, so again I went back home and return with the correct box only to find out that he's on the phone with [redacted] and they will send me a phone, again I do not want a refurbished phone after 10 days and after a $600.00 purchase. I took back my defected phone and contacted [redacted], they contacted the store again and told him ok we will go another route, letting the store know the customer, (that's me) has buyers remorse and wants to cancel her service, they inform the corporate office they can't do that because the phone is broken. The phone is defected and I should be able to have switched my phone out for a brand new working phone.Desired Settlement: [redacted] should not allow this store to represent them and sell phone service and phones and phone accessories if they do not have to follow the same terms and agreements as a Corporate Store. This store should be on notice and the consumer that deals with them should be made aware that its not the same service as a [redacted] Corporate location store.
