Dabney Exchange Car Wash

On 5/25/14 I visited the Dabney Exchange carwash (Autobright carwash) located Exchange St. in Henderson, NC. I used my debit card to purchase a $8 car wash. First the machine accepting payment would not print a receipt. When I entered the bay no lights triggered although the green go light was on. This resulted in no car wash. I have had this happen on two other occasions as well. Each time you call the 800 numbers posted on signs you either do not receive a return call or you are told they do not handle refunds for the car wash. This time thankfully I did receive a return call from a lady named [redacted] who gave us a local number to the newest owner, [redacted] I have called [redacted] four times this week leaving a message three times. I just want my money refunded for a service his machine did not provide. If this has happened to me three times over the past year, it has happened to others. Also, it would be helpful and polite to post a sign that gives you information as to who should be contacted if issues arise. None of the numbers listed are directly associated with the carwash or the owners.Desired Settlement$8 to be refunded and proper signs posted for customer issues to be resolved.More info received from the consumer 2014-06-04This business finally contacted us on Friday May 30. They refunded the full amount for all 3 washes we purchased, not just the most recent that was requested. We believe they resolved this matter without further issue from us.

Automatic wash broken. No contact information to get a refund.On Saturday August 8, 2015 at approximately 9:30 am I paid for an $8.00 auto wash using my credit card at the Dabney Exchange Car Wash. After entering the bay nothing happened. I went to the next bay and paid for another $8.00 auto wash using my credit card. The water did spray on my car but there was no soap therefore it did not clean my vehicle in fact it looked worse with the water spots. I got out and looked for a contact number for the owner but there was nothing posted. I looked up the phone number on [redacted]. I have been calling the number listed[redacted] and it will not accept calls. I am owed my $16.00 back because I did not get what I paid for. Desired SettlementI want a refund of $16.00 for a service I did not receive at the Dabney Exchange Car Wash at 200 Exchange St Henderson NC 27536.
