I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved As I stated before, if I had been told that there was a charge to come to my home, I would have never asked them to look at the roof I really think that is a bit much for minutes of work I feel like I have to accept this business's response, but will NEVER use or recommend this business in the future To me, that is shady practice to not reveal your service charge before the person comes out Plus, my roof leaked right after they put it on Yes they fixed it, but it had ruined my kitchen ceiling which they had refused to fix

Mr. [redacted], First let me apologize if no one responded to your email from November 2013, I can only assume that it was not received we would never intentionally ignore a customer contact. In reviewing the history on the vehicle the repair order states the work performed to check the check engine light we found an evaporative emissions code found at that time. The code was p1456 which was smoke checked by using a testing equipment tool that pressurizes the system to put a visible smoke output and detects any leaks, none were found. Three days later you did return and the gas cap was suspect since no leaks were found and we replaced the gas cap at no charge. It has now been 18 months and unknown mileage since it was last seen by us. I would be happy to pull the codes at no charge and see if the same code has reoccurred, whatever the code is we will continue to diagnose it at no charge, after diagnosing we will provide you with an estimate to correct it, no monies have been spent to correct the code as of yet, we will also credit the 109.95 diagnosis charge toward the repairs. As for the glove box we will repair it at no cost to you. Honda will provide a rental car for 1 day while the inflator campaigns are completed. I hope this works to resolve your issues with our service department. I hope this matter is resolved is and Mr. [redacted] is satisfied with this outcome. I have contacted Mrs. [redacted] and we are resolving her issues. We are getting her power fan wired up by an licensed electrician, straightening out her rake edges and I have sent off for her warranty paperwork to be mailed to her house. She has approved the gutter guard system we installed. ...

Carlon Roofing installed the roof 08/03/2007. Mrs. [redacted] called our office 4/3/2015 with a roofing leak. Mrs. [redacted] workmanship warranty doesn’t last for 7 years but her...
material warranty is 25 years from date of install. [redacted] went out to her home with a set time of 4/15/15. He went inside the home and saw where the leak was coming from, which was from a gas vent flashing unit and not something Carlon even replaced during the roof replacement and it had nothing to do with the shingles that we used. [redacted] told Mrs. [redacted] that if we fix the problem there would be a minimum charge of $250.00 to repair or just a $125.00 charge for coming out and finding the problem. Mrs. [redacted] told [redacted] not to repair the issue so he left her home. We have to be reimbursed for our time to come out to her property to evaluate a problem like any other vendor that would come to her home. I am very sorry that Mrs. [redacted] is upset with Carlon Roofing & Sheet Metal with this issue but there is nothing that Carlon did inappropriate with her leaking issue other than being late to her home that morning. I will be sending Mrs. [redacted] a check for half of the $125 for her inconvenience of [redacted] being late to her home and I do apologize for that.
