# We stand by our original statement Ms [redacted] was informed that she would need to respond to our e-mail in order to memorialize our conversations and accept our offer To this date, we have never received a response to that e-mail That offer is no longer available # We stand by our original statement Ms [redacted] authorized the technique(s) used to achieve the contrast she desired in her hair color Ms [redacted] was obviously confused about the balayage hair coloring technique and likely did not comprehend the discussion she had with her stylist prior to the application # We never charged Ms [redacted] for a bang cut Ms [redacted] did not complain about her bangs prior to her departure from the salon We have seen the pictures Ms [redacted] chose to post online but we cannot say with any certainty whether her bangs were further cut after her visit with us She, in fact, indicated over the phone on Saturday, August 20th that she had (or intended to) cut her own bangs # We stand by our original statement - Ms [redacted] review is both inaccurate and unfair Also, Management was present in the salon during the time Ms [redacted] received service and rang her out prior to her departure Management never made any claims to the contrary in writing or over the phone We are sorry that Ms [redacted] is unhappy but she has made some decisions that, in retrospect, she appears to regret Management has extended a significant amount of courtesy to Ms [redacted] although she had done little to earn any We consider the matter closed

*** *** received services at our salon on August 19th, She discussed in detail with our stylist the method in which she would receive these services and approved it She never expressed any displeasure with the results during her visit To the contrary, she seemed very
happy when she departed left a large gratuity for service.We received a request from Ms*** the next day by phone and e-mail to have a manager call her We called her back and were surprised to hear that she was unhappy with the service she received We discussed the matter with Ms*** at length over the phone to discern why her expectations were not met We also conferred with our stylist to decipher what might have gone wrong in either the consultation or the execution of the service to cause Ms*** such displeasure As we take pride in our work and value the satisfaction of our clients, we offered a complimentary redo of Ms***’ color to address her concerns She refused When asked what she would like us to do, Ms*** specifically requested a partial refund of $ Although it was dubious whether our stylist had done anything improper, we acquiesced to her request in hopes of resolving the matter amicably We told Ms*** that we would send an e-mail recounting the details of our conversations with her to memorialize the matter and that she should respond with her approval if this course was satisfactory. Approximately five minutes after sending Ms*** our e-mail recap, we received a courtesy notice that Ms*** had written a review of our salon on Yelp Her review was a tremendously disparaging diatribe that was not an accurate or fair account of the service she received or the discussions she had with us following her visit Ms***’ request for recourse from us was insincere and our offer to grant it was unappreciated We received her review - quite properly - as a refusal of our unaccepted offer and informed her so.We’re sorry Ms*** was unsatisfied with her experience at our salon However, she received a service that was thoroughly discussed with her in a manner which she approved Best, da:da hairthe Penthouse Salon224-

Hello, I was out of town and did not have access to a computer to write a through reply to the businessI want it known that I do remain very unsatisfied and this company did NOTHING to resolve my issuesRight now the resolution is listed as " "Answered - the business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer remains dissatisfied." When accoring to your reply should be filed as "Answered- Revdex.com has not heard back from the consumer as to their satisfaction with the business's response.” Per the email below. I am happy to respond to the business now as I am back home but am also satisfied with closing the issue with a status of "the business and customer were unable to come to a resolution" because that is what has happenedCan you please update the status as something along the lines of the above? It definately should not say that the business did anything to resolve my issues as they absolutely did notI never received any refund from the company...Thanks for your help with this.*** ***

#business claims that I rejected money by posting poor reviewReview was posted prior to business agreeing to refund my moneyPlease see timestampsBusiness stated they were going to refund $after acknowledgement of the situation via emailBusiness never gave me the opportunity to respond to the email before they rejected the $50 stating because of my review they assumed that I did not agree and was rejecting the $which is completely FALSE. Rejecting an agreed upon refund after giving my credit card information over the phone to do so is illegal. You cannot reject a refund based on a customer reviewI have evidence of the agreement of refund and then immediate revoke of offer via paper trail in emails
#business claims that it is impossible to tell if salon did not properly do my hair, there are pictures showing the difference posted on their site and the manager claims that although he checked me out of the salon and has been doing hair for many years, he never saw my hair and cannot say whether or not the proper technique was usedAnyone with access to a computer can google the difference between highlights (what they did) and balayage (what I wanted and paid for)They are VERY different
#business NEVER acknowledges that my bangs were cut improperlyI now have side pieces that will take months to grow out into my haircut
#business claims my review was inaccurateAlthough manager was not there during any of my procedure and claims he never saw my final hairBut he did notice the tip I gave the stylist which is actually much lower than I normally tip

Due to their terrible management, handling of this situation, and quality of services rendered, I am still requesting a full-refundI have to have my hair redone and this money should go towards what I really should have paid for.*** ***
