We cleaned his carpets and he was happy with our workWhile I was out there, he asked me about his laminate flooringI took a look at it and told him it looked water damagedI told him we could come back out and take a better look at it and we didThe floor is too damaged and needs to be replacedI explained I cannot fix itHe doesn’t like that answer so he keeps calling about itUnfortunately there’s nothing I can do for himI asked him to get a second opinion if he would likeI told him we could replace it and he doesn’t want to pay the money to have it replacedI would do anything to help him, but there is no way to fix it

I have done everything possible to communicate with Mrand Mrs [redacted] regarding the work we were doing for them I had told them that they were using a 2nd grade wood which was going to have many knotholes and would need to be filled with a wooden filler and stained Mrs [redacted] did not want any staining on the flooring After we removed the carpeting, I told and showed the ***'s that they have different levels of floors and that regardless of all that we could try to do, we would not be able to bring all levels the same Additionally, I told them that the wood flooring would be floating in some areas and they said they understood this and was fine and for me to proceedThey have raised the issue about the glue used and I explained to them that I used the best glue considering the it was on concrete It was not the wrong glue but the best for the factors which we had to deal with in these circumstances.I had been in constant communication with the ***'s in this process and have done the best possible work for them I explained to them what issues we were encountering with each step of the way I have done my best and even went above and beyond expectations in this job to satisfy the ***'s I find it hard to believe that there are other contractors that can do a better job with all of the factors they will encounter

The customer's floor is finished and they received exactly what we told them they were going to getThe reason it took so long is because we ran into major floor prep along the wayThere were three different add ons in the house and three different levels of flooringI have pictures of the
hallway where the floor completely came upIt used to be part of outside and the main room had old tile covering the entire floor we had to scrape upWe had to use about bags of self leveler so that the hard wood could be acceptableThey have not paid for any of the extra work doneShe did not want any color in the floor at all so we used a water based polyurethane with a red oak filler and now she is picking apart every little part of the floorShe does not like the knot holes, the grain and the woodNow what they want is for us to go through and cut out about boards and replace them with ones that she likesThis would make the floor look patched and she still will not like the floorI have not been back to the home because this customer is verbally abusive

They did not have light nor air conditioningIt was degrees outsideWe waiting a long time for the air conditioning to be turned outWhen they finally turned the air conditioning on the hired someone elseThe wood would've expanded if I put the wood in the home without air conditioningThen
once you turn on the air the wood shrinks and then once you install the wood there would be cracks all through the floorWe had not lights or air conditioning to install the doorsNow that we can do the work since they have turned the air on, if they hire someone else they are in breech of contractThey told me they were turning the air on, and bringing in someone else to do the job that Monday
