I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I hired them because it was leaking and yes he had to come back several times because it still leaked. The tiles had water spots on 2 he fixed the roof and then my ceiling was pouring water out and ruined more tiles NO tiles were down ,he pulled them down and left in a pile, on the floor and told me, my son and his girlfriend that he would be back to put tiles up after several calls from me when he was coming he kept putting it off and telling me he was booked right up he would come at night or week end when he still didn't show I called again and that is when he said I had to pay for tiles he pulled down! He tried to charge me for tin he never put on the roof thinking I would not go up on roof and then offered to pay me back. If I had not gone up there I would not of known because the sheet metal was on the ground in my driveway. As far as his statement about what he was hired for I hired him to stop the leak and he gave me the price. Now he's trying to say I hired him for one thing...yea to stop the leak, he didn't return my calls or get in touch with me to tell me he wasn't fixing the tiles for months instead he kept telling me he would come. I made the mistake of telling him he could go in the house while I was at work because that is when he pulled the tiles down.

Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised:The consumer and business had a verbal agreement for the lower roof around the chimney to be replaced.  Which the company completed.  The consumer continued to call the business about a leak.  The business continued to come back after six times...

on the roof, the business determined the upper roof which was not what he was contracted to do was leaking.  The business therefore pulled that section up and replaced it free of charge, even though this was part of his contracted work.  The consumer then continued to follow up with him about the prior damage to her ceiling tiles.  This damage was not a result of anything this business did.  He was unavailable to replace the tiles for the consumer at such time. Upon continued contract from the consumer the business followed up with the consumer and asked if she was going to pay for the ceiling tiles to be replaced the consumer stated no, therefore the business will not be replacing them.  Damage to the ceiling tiles was from a pre-existing issue which the business located and repaired free of charge, the pre-existing damage to the ceiling tiles is the consumer's responsibility.
