These are the most rude people ever in the collections department you feel as though you are being interrogated and that you are less than a person I have only been days late twice in the length of my loan if you call to make arrangements to pay late you have to go thru the problem each time and they talk down to youI have good credit so I am going to refinance my mortgage with someone else would encourage no one to do business with themThey have rude rude customer service!!!!

My experience with 21st Mortgage started out very well, during the application period I had fantastic serviceI worked with [redacted] and he was fantastic! Everything was done timely and correctly However once my loan was approved the tone of the company seemed to shiftWhen I call now they sound irritated at my questionsI recently went through and ordeal with them that has sparked me to write this complaint To start off there is no way to view past payments online so you have to request a transaction history to see the details of your paymentsI called on the fourth of November to make a principle payment on my loan and at the same time I requested a transaction history for my recordsI never received a confirmation e-mail or anything, so when I checked my bank account on the 8th to make sure everything was correct I found out that they had not deducted the money yetSo I called to see what had gone wrong and found out that they did not apply my payment to principle they just added it to the loan so I paid interest! If I had not called I never would have known they ignored my request and applied my payment incorrectlyThe lady I spoke with [redacted] was very helpful and corrected the paymentI then asked for another statement to reflect this changeOn the 10th I still had not received either of my requested statements so I called back, they told me that it had been mailed out to me on the fourth and just to be patient and wait for it, that it takes a while to get to me USPSSo I waited until the 17th and called back having still not received my documentsThe man on the phone was very short with me and seemed very annoyed that I had called againHe once again told me that it was sent out USPS on the fourth and to be patient they do not control the postal serviceThis made me quite upset, he did not offer to help just told me to wait Well when I did finally receive one of my papers on the 18th I found out the paperwork was printed on the 10th, and not mailed until the 15th! So I was lied to on two occasions about when my paperwork was actually mailedI called today (the 21st) and asked to speak with a manager the man who got on the phone sounded annoyed like he would rather be doing anything else than speaking with meI explained my situation to him and he did not care in the slightestHe just told me that the paperwork they mailed on the 4th must have been lost and they must have resent it on the 10thI was shocked, I said I would like to lodge a complaint that I was lied to on the phone twice and that my original payment that I had requested to be principle only was not applied that wayHe told me no one lied to me and he would not be taking down my complaint This is completely unacceptableOnce you have signed on the dotted line this company no longer cares and would not admit they were wrong or even apologize that they had made the mistakes DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Horrible customer service, nobody can answer your questions, received a mobile home loan, do not even have a well or septic tank and they want first payment already when I can't live in it!

The employees are very rude and ask the same questions over and overand when you get mad because you keep repeating your self they tell you to not get madAnd when you ask to speak to a supervisor they say they are oneand when you get sick of repeating yourself and demand for a supervisorthey transfer to a real supervisor and the job gets doneWe will be looking for a different mortgage company and will never refer this company to anyone

I have a home loan with this companyThis past month I was laid off of my job suddenly due to contracting issues (state employee)We have done our best to budget but it has been a problem of courseWe have been able to work with other companies and get extensions as necessary and be treated respectfullyWith 21st we have been able to work out a plan for me to pay on a certain day with a $feeAlthough I think to fee is extreme I do not dispute it, but I do have a problem with the service received I was contacted by our loan manager, ***, and was interrogated on why we cannot make a payment immediately even though I had explained our situation multiple timesI also explained that I would be starting work soon and will be receiving money to catch up within weeksI then talked to his supervisor, [redacted] I asked to have a private conversation and that ***would not be listening inShe laughed and said 'He will be aware of anything we talk about'I let her know I understood but would prefer he would not be on the phoneShe was very rude from this point onI let her know I did not appreciate how she was handling the situation and I would appreciate her understandingShe was still very nasty for the remainder of the callWe worked a payment plan out and I asked if she has a supervisor I could speak withShe explained that it would not help and the payment was setI let her know I accept the payment but would like to speak with her supervisorShe then put me on hold before answering meI was on hold for 10+min before speaking with someone elseI was pretty upset by this point and tried explaining the rudeness and the unprofessional attitude of her employees that I have been experiencingShe let me know she has been working with both of these people for a while and there is nothing she can doShe then went to explain that they are not in the business of "customer care and only collections" In my opinion if you work with people you should take care for what you say and have respect for peopleI do not think it is OK to treat people with such rudenessAs stated before I do not wish to change anything with my payment or its arrangement but would like my experience with these very rude people to be know

21StMortgage company is by far the most rude and disrespectful company I have ever had to deal withWorking in the auto industry we are prone to layoffs and short work weeksI had called and told them of my situationAsking for help I was months behind and addressed I could make everything up including any late fees within one months timeI was told I could not be helped...pay everything within a week or we start foreclosureThey would not answer my questions told me I was not listening to themEven threatened that they could foreclose on my home now because I wouldn't give them what they wanted right then and thereEven tried to tell me I would owe $dollars in one months timemonths mortgage payments and late fees does not add up to $dollars! Basically you are not allowed to have financial issues even when it is no fault of your ownPay up or get outThis is not a friendly we will work with you kind of company that anyone would want to deal withThey will do anything to get your money when they want it...no matter the circumstances

mortgage is VERY inconsistent with what they tell youWe submitted a payment online after we were not able to deposit our money for our auto draftpeople told us that our bank account would not be touched and it was anywayWhen we called to get it figured out we had different people telling us different thingsOne hung up on us and they got snappy several timesOh and apparently according to [redacted] a supervisor there, they don't record phone calls, they WRITE SUMMARIES of the phone call so no matter what they tell you they can change it to make them look like the good guys and the customers look like the liarsCurrently we are still trying to get OUR NEEDED money backRECORD ALL OF YOUR PHONE CALLS YOU MAKE WITH THESE PEOPLETHEY ARE RUDE, INCONSISTENT LIARS

I was days past due and attempted to make a payment The manager harassed me on why I was late and threatened foreclosure I couldn't discuss it due to being at work The manager refused to accept my full payment until I told him why I was late and when I was going to make my next payment, which wasn't due until three days later I kept telling him that I just needed to make a payment He still refused, so I had to hang up

The customer service representatives are rude and disrespectfulGod forbid you should run into financial troubles (such as losing a job, having surgery or something to that extent) because they will offer you NO help whatsoever! For the first years of our loan, we were NEVER late on a payment (paid weeks in advance even) and in our 6th year, my husband and I both lost our jobs within days of eachother due thanks to the issues our economy was having (both work in construction) and they offered no deferrals for us and we found out that we have no insurance or credit life on our home loan (don't even remember being offered the option to have either)Even with our struggles, we've never been over day late on our loan, but if you miss a payment, the day after it's due, expect calls, texts and emails from them on every number/email address that you have provided them withThey don't care about your situation and althought they SAY they will work with you to get the payment back on track, you WILL quickly find out that there are NO options other than make the payment before that day mark or they will foreclose I am NOT AT ALL happy with this company and hate that we've gotten involved with themI'm so disatisfied that if our house was not tied up in family-owned land, we would let it go back with no hesitationWe are currently seeking to refinance with another company and get away from this mess that they call a business! I agree with previous comments, I have NO idea how they are accredited with the Revdex.com with their poor customer service and lack of options to their customers

I started the pre-qualification process through themIt started off well and I was excited to find someone who had reasonable terms for mobile home financingI was told that a credit score or better will achieve the 5% down cutoff for down paymentAfter obtaining all of my financials and pulling my credit, they informed me that down payment was 15% which was 10% higher than the originalThis obviously caused them to lose my business because of misguided information and being lied toThough my credit be way higher than what was needed it didn't make sense to punish one with good creditI told them never mind and I am also considering legal action for pulling my credit after obtaining information from themThey are nice at the start but I'm going to assume once you are actually stuck with them they probably offer horrific customer serviceWhy are the Revdex.com accredited? I didn't have to fully do business to be burned by themI gave them the benefit of the doubt because most negative reviews stemmed from late payments, that defeats the purpose of a loan and lending so I can understand there end being upset but when lied to from the start that's advertising!
