DadSons Reviews (1)

I am the president of Dadsons. I did not directly deal with Mr. [redacted] but my service manager, [redacted], did. I have interviewed [redacted] to make sure he followed Dadsons' standards of client contact. I have included [redacted] written statement to the repair order and dealings with Mr. [redacted]. Dadsons requires anytime here is a price change in the original that it be documented, either approved or not, in the management software system and [redacted] did so. I have included both repair authorization conversations with Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] had during the repair process. (See pages 3 & 4) Both times Mr. [redacted] agreed to both the initial estimate and the authorization for further required repair and associated pricing.
There is no practical way to test the brake system pressure prior to repairs. Brake pressure within the lines can reach in upwards of 1200 psi in a hard/panic stop. There were no signs of visual leakage from the line going to the rear or the wheel cylinder prior repair the front braking system as it was leaking in the front and no allowing the rear braking system to build pressure. Once the front repair was completed, the technician filled the master cylinder brake reservoir and bled the system. At the time, the line going to the rear began leaking due to metal fatigue from rust on the line. This is common problem of any vehicle this age with rust. There is no way to tell what will happen until the braking system can be pressurized. Mr. [redacted] was advised of that during the initial authorization by [redacted].
We also pointed other areas of the vehicle in need of repair to make the vehicle safe to drive. Mr. [redacted] declined those repairs. [redacted] left those repairs as Estimated Services on the repair order as a courtesy to Mr. [redacted]. (See page 5) [redacted] also advised Mr. [redacted] the truck was unsafe to drive due to the steering issue prior to him picking up his vehicle.
I feel Dadsons has done no wrong. We kept Mr. [redacted] abreast of everything during the repair process. We notified and showed him of additional work required. We obtained his authorization prior to completing the repairs.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call [redacted] or myself at 765-286-5998.
Thank you
[redacted]
