Horrible cable.company. Equipment is inferior and outdated. Service is extremely poor. One TV and internet first.month bill exceeded $450, more.than a car.payment. Called.them multiple.times.to see if they'd at least waive installation fee or credit a couple of months of HBO and Showtime to make first bill manageable. They rejected the credit requests and never even called me back.

Only stuck with them because no other cable provider in the area. I am actually considering moving to a different area to not have them.

This is by far the WORST cable service provider I've ever encountered. How do they stay in business? Horrible customer service and equipment. I was literally forced to choose them because of some kind of contract our builder has with them. Personally I feel this is illegal since you take away my option to choose another cable provider. So we are stuck with a crappy company that we are forced to pay as their fees are included in our HOA fees.

Call our customer - Marvin J back at tel # 407-*** - Account # *** , ***, FL 32827, all service is back up and working, we will also start mailing our customer a paper bill, monthly as per his request, also a credit will be no his next statement for the paper bill fee for 6 months as a good faith. we will also coach our tech. support representative on troubleshooting steps.

Keep losing channels in HOA pkg, called Dais,David accused us of not paying bill for box they gave us due to low signal/pixelation issues on their end
Lost HBO channels again on July 2, 2019 (have called at least 10 times in the past year, if not more, for the same issue). Called Dais and spoke to a tech who was saying that it was our TV, so we asked to speak to a supervisor and got David. We asked them to check our account to see that this is a recurring issue. Meanwhile, David tells us that they cancelled HBO because we haven't been paying for the small cable boxes. These cable boxes were not requested by us. They were given by their technicians because we don't get all of the channels that we are supposed to have with the HOA package, which includes HBO. The issue is that the signal is inadequate on their end, as we have been told, thus requiring the box for the cable to work appropriately. We have only received a bill from Dais in 2012 when we first moved to the area and we disputed that because of the signal issue and they removed the charges. Now David tells us that they have been sending us bills via email and we have never received any of it. He also said that they've reported us to HOA and we have never received correspondence from them either. David said they stopped sending bills in Feb since we weren't paying. We tried to explain issues to him but he just kept repeating that we didn't pay the bills. We have excellent credit over 800 that shows we pay our legitimate bills in a timely manner. We even gave him the name of the people we have spoken to at Dais, including Bonnie ***, techs Sylvester and Elisio that he should contact regarding our account and issues. We even offered to give David the tech's numbers so he can talk to him and David said, "No, we don't work that way." He also stated "Bonnie hasn't been here for 2 years." We still don't have HBO channels on our gym TV, but they are on all the other ones. So I'd doesn't make sense at all. There is something wrong on their end, and it's not due to the alleged "unpaid bills".

So not only do they have defective cable service as we still lose channels after being in Laureate Park for 7 years (3 years at this address and 4 years on ***), they also have poor customer service.

Desired Outcome

1)Fix signal so we get all channels in our package. 2)Reverse all alleged charges for the boxes that are required to receive signal/services. We never asked for the boxes, they installed them. 3)Make sure that our credit doesn't get affected by their error. 4)Improve communication deficit as we have not received notice in writing, email or by phone of the alleged charges. 5)Improve customer service. Our customer Barron ***, account # ***, ***e, Orland, FL 32827, was given the full credit of $43.33 to their account which will show up on their next statement as a Zero balance $0.00, and was given 1 DTA box as a complimentary because one of their TV do not have a digital tuner - their account is fully noted. We also received the 2 DTA which customer - no longer need. All calls will be pull and sent to David supervisor for counseling/coaching. Please closed case.

We received a reversal of charges and Dais allowed us to keep one box that they agreed to comp is in order for our tv to work with their system. However, we did end up giving away a similar but larger tv because it also needed the box that they comped us in 2012. If this whole situation didn't occur, we would still have that tv and another box. Unfortunately my husband was so disheartened by this issue and decided to get rid of it. It is a loss for us but we are glad that the rest of the situation has been resolved.

Jason who helped us was very courteous and we appreciate how he listened to our side and his willingness to research our account in order to understand what was going on....something that should have been done from the beginning.

Dais is an utterly terrible internet service provider. Our rate began at $50/Mo for 100Mb/s internet. Our speeds never even got close. Our router is a gigabit, dual-band router, centrally located in our small apartment. We can be sitting in the living room with the router and barely crest a fraction of our alleged speeds. Several months into our contract (and nowhere near our lease expiration) Dais upped its cost of service by 40% to $70/mo and allegedly also increased its service to 1Gb/s. Not only did the service not improve but there wasn't even an option to not assume the 'better' service at the higher rate. We were forced to pay more or go without internet. Honestly, looking back, we may as well have gone without since the service was always terrible.

Service disconnect due to incorrect billing
I have been without internet service with this company for about 3 months. I can only assume this is due to a past due balance the company claims I owe. There is no explanation as to what this balance is for on any of my bills. I pay my monthly bill every month..even if it is a bit late. When I have contacted the company via phone, their explanations make no sense and the math does not add up. They also stated that there were issues with their own billing/bank but "assured" me that had nothing to do with this. I was referred to go their office in person. When I arrived, the office had moved but no post about where it had moved or any hours. I did find the new location, but the doors were locked and again, no hours were posted.

Desired Outcome

I want my internet service turned back on immediately. I also want a logical, written explanation as to why I have a past due balance and what exactly it is for.

WE also send customer a copy of her statement from January of 2018 to December 2018 by and our office address at 13630 Sachs Ave suite 110, Orlando, 32827, we open Monday, Wednesday and Friday. a message was left with that info. and we will restart service once payment received.

When we first signed up, we were given no information about our account. I thought my husband had set up autograft (but apparently not). You have to go online and give an account number and other information we were never given. Long story short we didn't pay our bill for three months without realizing it. We were never mailed anything. Our wifi was always extremely slow. Customer service was never nice. We left when the bill went up from $50 to $70. Not paying that much for crappy wifi. JUST DON'T USE DAIS!!

Refund requested for failure to properly set up internet access point and purchase of router
I moved into my home on 8/30. At the time of installation the technician told me to either purchase a router ($170 dollars) or rent for 10 dollars a month. Since this is my permanent residence, I decided to purchase the router he recommended. 2 months later, with continued service issues, 2 technicians told me that my service was poor because the technician didn't set up my access points and that I should not have been using a 3rd party router. I asked to be refunded for my installation fee and router and the company refuses, stating it was my decision to buy it, however, they fail to recognize that they told me to buy it or rent (which even renting would not have been an option). The customer service manager also told me that it's my responsibility to set up the access point and that it is up to me to figure out how to do this. This neighboorhood FORCES you to have DAIS technologies by building the fees into your HOA, but they refuse to help you properly.

Desired Outcome

refund for the purchase of a $170 dollar router plus initial installation fees.

I did receive a refund of the install because I called several times within the first 30 days with service issues, not because of this issue. I also explained that I cannot return the router as it has been over 30 days and I still feel that Dais Technologies is responsible for what their technicians instruct their customers to do. I would still like a credit or payment of $170 dollars for the router that I can no longer return.

It is important to note that Dais is owned by Tavistock which is the housing development I live in, therefore Dais should have been aware that my home was already built with a route and should have informed me of this prior to telling me to buy a router.

Hello team,

The last time spoke with Mrs. was 10/25. I explained to her that we are not able to add a credit to her account for a product that we do not offer. I also explained to her that the credit for the install is usually offered if we do not install our service properly. Our service was installed properly, so theoretically, the install credit was really not supposed to be credited to her account. I explained to Mrs. that our manager approved to credit her install as a 1 time courtesy, and she was very pleased with this and we ended the conversation with a thank you.

Called to cancel services in August, still being billed for services. Returned equipment, not received a final bill.
Called company second week of August to cancel service as I was moving out of service area. Returned equipment August 22, services still have not been cut off and I have not received a final bill. I've called company at least 3 times about issue and still have not heard back from account manager. Told by employee Dennis that 1 bill was not paid for as they were having issues processing payments from may to July of 2018. States that I owed for June and August but have yet to receive bill in mail.

Desired Outcome

Finalize bill for the June and August fees, service disconnected.

I opened an account in January. Never received a bill or email from this company. Moved out at the end of April. A woman called my cell phone early June for payment from January to June. I told her I moved out in April. She asked why I didn't contact DAIS. I asked WHY DAIS has not contacted me? I have yet to receive an itemized bill. Who is running their operations? I lived in Miami for a year and dealt with crazy business practices. Believe me, Lake Nona should NOT welcome corrupt business practices that are quickly spreading north from Miami. It seems shady. I'm not paying a penny until I see an itemized bill!!!

We are beyond pleased with Joe, Cory, and Fred. We had a large project and they followed through tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. We are very happy with our low voltage options at our new home. Everything from our security system to our living and impressive media rooms exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Dais in the Lake Nona area.
