Daisy Day Care, LLC Policies, Procedures and Contract state “This contract prepared and signed represents a legal and binding agreement between the undersigned partiesFurther, the Family day Care Provider may terminate the contract without notice if the parent/legal guardian does not comply with items set forth in the Daisy Day Care, LLC Child Care Contract.” Daisy Day care operates Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am to 5:30pmAs also stated in the contract there are late fees associated with late pick-upThese fees are not in place to extend the hours of Daisy Day Care, LLCThese fees are in place as a deterrent to enforce scheduled daycare hoursWithin this policy the contracts also states, for clarification “it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to arrive on time to attend to their child's needs for departure and if needed engage in conversation with the provider concerning the child.” in bold lettering another statement follows "The family day home expects to have its doors shut and closed for the day by 5:30pm, anyone remaining on the premises will receive noted late fees.” As the parent/legal guardian stated she arrived to the daycare at 5:30pmShe was late upon arrival due to the inability to perform piand departure by 5:30pmThe parent/legal guardian authorized her mother by written permission to pick up her son therefore authorizing her as an acting agent or her behalf to enter the premises and perform pion 6/8/19.The parent/legal guardian was a repeat offender and the proper measures were taken to alert her to this since her contractual obligation that began on January 18, After ten (10) documented late arrivals with no charge a contract reminder was sent home on March 16, reiterating the contract policyThe parent/legal guardian rendered late fee charges of April 1, and again on April 8, On June 8, the parent/legal guardian was made aware of her hate arrival in a professional manner and according to the terms of the contractThis behavior has prohibited me from maintaining Scheduled appointments, classes, meetings, etc.As stated in the Daisy Day Care Contract, “Behavior and Language should be conducive with a childcare settingIf at any time a conflict with a parent arises resulting in inappropriate behavior or language the enrolled child will be dismissed from daycare immediately and care will be terminatedThe parent/legal guardian and her mother, acting agent, were notified of termination on 6/9/16.As Stated in the Daisy Day Care Contract "The days of the week chosen are specifically held for your child and there will be no refund or special considerations made for periods of absenceThis includes full-time, part-time, daily, Preschool and SAC positionsPayment is based on availability of services, not the actual hours the child attends those servicesAny permanent changes in your child's schedule will require a four week written notice and a new contract.” Due to termination there is no refund.Thank you for your time in this matterIf you should have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at the number listed above
