Property manager at Prairie Crossing is a racist who threaten tenants of color.
Property manager Angela Bruss, is a racist who threatens tenants of color with eviction when she is challenged telling lies and harassing folks. She ignores violations by white tenants, ignore the garbage around the community, ignore complaints against white tenants who put other tenants lives in danger by speeding around the community. Complaints have been made by multiple tenants regarding Angela's behavior to her supervisor but nothing has been done. Her behavior continues.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/06) */
According to the CDA work order history:
On 06/29/2015: Resident reported "black mold in the bathroom, getting sick from it, check exhaust fan" On 07/09/2015 CDA maint tech noted "cleaned mold in bathroom". On 08/25/2015 resident reported...

"There is a water leak under the upstairs sink". On 08/26/2015 maint tech noted "replaced bath faucet". No additional work orders have been called in since regarding mold or water leak in the bathroom.
on 10/01/2015 a work order was called in "bathroom vanity drawer broken". Because they were a "new move in", the CDA did not charge for this repair. On 1/20/2015 resident called in "repair vanity drawer". Maint tech repaired the drawer and charged according to the CDA charge list. Manager of the property spoke in length to the head of household Dan G. about the charge and mailed him a copy of the charge list. No additional conversations have been had since regarding the drawer.
On 11/10/2014 resident called in "dishwasher takes 3 washes in order to get the tab to open" on 11/14/2015 maint tech check the dishwasher, part was ordered. On 12/31/2014 resident called in "dishwasher soap is not dispensing". On 01/07/2015 maint tech reported "checked dishwater, soap dispenser opens". On 08/10/0215 resident called in "dishwasher doesn't work well, they have to run it two or more times" On 08/10/2015 maint tech reported "Ran dishwasher magic and cleaned port holes in dishwasher".
The CDA will complete a follow up inspection regarding the new complaint of mold under the sink. The CDA will not refund for the drawer as it is in accordance to the CDA Lease and Work Order Charge List. The property manager will follow up with a different maint tech to check on the dishwasher; but all previous notations state that the dishwasher is working.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/10/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept that because I have talked some people around the neighborhood and they havent gotten charges for the drawers that needed fixed and they didn't put it on there sheet that it was broke! And also we have told them our dishwasher needs to be looked at it dirt has been on our dishes! We have called and left messages that sprayin the mold isn't goin to do anything and they need to do something about it! We dont get any calls back no communication! Also we have called and my fiancee dan g has talked to heather about the black mold underneath the sink and she said she would talk to david to see if it really needs to be fixed I have a 3 year old and black mold is not healthy for her or any of us and I have talked to multiple people and they also have black mold in there bathroom ect.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2015/10/21) */
On October 13, 2015, both the CDA Property Manager and a Tech 2 Maintenance staff inspected the unit regarding the complaints. The "sand" substance that the resident is referring too is dirt/food particles on dishes that were standing upright; as it was in the coffee cups that were standing upright. There was no "sand" found in the dishwasher. The dishwasher ran properly during the inspection.
The staff inspected under the bathroom sink for "mold". There was no evidence of "mold"; there was water stains and dirt.
There was "mold" forming on the walls in the shower area. The CDA will hire a contractor to clean, seal, and paint the walls. However, the resident needs to properly use the exhaust fan, such as using the "timer" on the switch in order for the fan to run after the use of the shower to remove the steam. This was not on when we inspected. We turned it on while there and the vent was inspected and is properly working.
