Dakydes moved 60"TV to my apt. Upon plugging the TV a white bar displayed with no color. Contact made to owner who did not take responsibility. On 4/11 Dakydes M&D moved my items to an apartment. Once items were delivered, I informed mover that items were left at old residence. We went back to old residence to pick up my slates for the bed and 60"TV. The slates were left at another residence in which we had to go back to get and then return to my old residence to pick up the 60"TV. The mover seemed disgruntled about having to pick the TV up. Upon entering the old residence, the TV was moved by two of the movers and placed on the truck. It was dark, so I was unable to see "how" the TV was strapped on. Upon arriving at the new residence, the TV was placed on the floor of the apartment. It was fairly late in the evening. The next morning, I realized my TV stand had not been moved and went to get the stand. The TV was placed on the TV stand. As I plugged in the TV, the display shown a large white bar vertically across the screen and no color. I called the mover and informed him of the damage. His response was that it could be the voltage or display of the screen that's damaged. I asked was the company insured and he stated yes. He would get with his partner and get back with me. I sent him a text of the TV display on the same day, 4/12 at 6:30pm. He did not respond to the text. I placed a call to him on Monday and he stated waiting on his partner to get back to him. I kept emphasizing to him that the TV was working fine before this move. I called again on Tuesday and he stated the same that he has never had this issue and it could be something with the voltage at the apartment complex or display/motherboard of the TV. My response was could that not be from the move and that the TV was working fine before the move. He took no responsibility in the matter. I did not hear from him on Wednesday, 4/16. I called from another number on 4/17. He stated the same things and would not take responsibility for damaging the TV. I asked for the name of his partner and phone number and that I would seeking legal counsel on my rights and he stated, "fine".Desired SettlementI would like for the business to replace my LG 60" flat screen TV.Business Response Item was picked up from the Customers home unplugged off of the bedroom floor. Customer walked with employees downstairs with the television and watched as the television was loaded on the truck by itself with no other items around it. Customer watched television as it was properly padded with the cardboard box and mats to protect the entire television before we padded it the second time with the actual moving pads as well and strapped to the truck with no other items. Followed behind customer to the new residence, unloaded television, took it in the new home and was asked to place television on a shelve that extends from the wall. I stated that it is not safe to reside up there without mounting so we sat the television on the floor upright on its stand and ask if that was it & was everything where she would like it, customer agreed. Received a phone call later on the next evening stating that the t.v had a vertical white line down the middle of the picture. Advised customer that she watched us handle the television like all the others in the past & we have never had that issue occur. Asked customer if she could send me an image of what was being displayed which she did. After receiving the image, I noticed it had been moved by someone else & also placed on a television stand & had been hooked up with cable & a dvd player. After viewing the image I saw the actual movie being played & saw the white line down the middle of the television. I advised the customer that no physical damage was caused while we were there as she watched us the entire time but I will still try to find out what the cause may be & get back in contact with her. After I had brought this matter to my managers attention as well as one of the other employees that works part time at [redacted] in the electronic department I found multiple reasons why that would occur which were known not to be of physical damage. I began to ask the customer questions the same questions I was asked pertaining to the television when I inquired about what the cause could be. I was asking questions because as I was told as well as the info I looked up stated, it could have been something as simple as removing other devices improperly(cable, dvd players, satellite boxes),unhooking cables from attached items which causes issues with the failure to ACF bonding of the panel in the rear panel that connects those devices, voltage causing failed IC drivers which affects display issues, the Tcon board going bad which controls the pixels that burn out an affect the display which is attached to the inside as well, etc. Customer became irate & stated that it doesn't matter what the problem could be, it wasn't like that before so she is seeking legal procedures. The television was unplugged on the floor at prior residence when we arrived, handle with care properly as usual & placed back on the floor unplugged. We never saw the television functioning properly & will not take blame for damaging item. "Hooked up to other electronics as well as staged & moved by someone else, then we receive a call 24 hours later stating we should be held reliable."

I hired this company to move me. However, instead of asking me what size truck I need they sent one that was too small. This company failed to ask me what size truck I needed. They sent one that was too small. They had to make two trips which means I had to make two trips. I want to be compensated for this.Desired SettlementI am seeking a $100.00 credit for the inconvenience of traveling and being charged over what they claim the max price was. More info from the consumer:Dakydes Moving and I have settled this dispute. He admits he was wrong. He has issued a check in the amount of $80.00 as settlement for his error. I will accept that and his applogy for the inconvience.

Destroyed furniture etc. during move, didn't complete assembly of furniture, doesn't respond to any phone calls, texts or emails. This company was hired to move all of my belongings from my house and a storage in Cary to my new apartment in Raleigh. The time to accomplish the move took way longer then anticipated. Work was done slowly and somewhat disorganized. Starting on 11-20-2015 at 9:15 am, we finally arrived at my apartment in Raleigh at 4:30 pm. They finally left 9:30 pm unfinished. First the owner wanted to get all of the boxes etc. into the apartment which would have left no space whatsoever to get all the furniture in and assemble everything. Unpacking and setting everything up in the apartment was a disaster that evening. The assembly of the furniture took a very long time and was left unfinished with the dresser in the bedroom because parts of it were forgotten in the house. The next day I realized that two large drawers of the dresser cannot be used anymore, because the metal rails were broken during assembly or while moving it. The mirror was never attached to the dresser though the owner swore to come back and finish the job. Furthermore following items were broken during the move: five coffee cups, a swiffer cleaner, and the glass front of one embroider picture. Some oil paintings were pushed out of their frames. My phone calls leaving several voice mails and texts to fix the dresser are ignored , my email with attached photos is still unanswered. I asked for $ 200 to be compensated to put the mirror on the dresser, fix the two drawers, get new glass on the embroidery and buy a new swiffer and new coffee cups.Desired SettlementI am asking to get $ 200 through the owners business insurance to be compensated for my damages.
