Review: I contact [redacted] in May of this year and secure an automobile insurance policy. I gave him $575.00 up front on May 28th ($348.01 was taken out of my check on 5/30 for Victoria insurance and the $230.00 was case). The following month [redacted] son contacted me and told me that my premium was going to increase and I needed to come in a pay. I came in on 6/27 and I was informed that I had to paid $800 and something odd dollar and I told him that I could not afford it. [redacted] son had me sign 3 different form to cancell the draft that was suppose to come out of my account on 6/28. Here 2 months later I letter from Victoria insuranc reflecting I owe them. I explained that I went into [redacted] insurance and completed paper work to cancel my policy and I was told that I owe because I did not contact Victoria Insurance, again explained I went to the agency that I was paying for the insurance and that I was under the impression that my policy was cancelled on 6/27 when I signed form to cancel my automated payment. I agreed to pay one price and then was expect to pay another is really bad business practice, $575.00 was to secure policy and $325.00 was suppose to be monthly premium.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] insurance company to clear this situation up with Victoria insurance and stop this collection process against me.

Ms. [redacted] applied for auto insurance through me on May 28th, 2013. My practice for 38 years is to run a current driving record on each and every

new potential customer. In the case of Ms. [redacted], her driving record had shown that she was involved in 4 accidents in the last 36 months. She

told me she was not at fault in 2 of the 4 accidents. I believed her and found out she was not being totally accurate with me when the accident

reports were received. Every Insurance Company in American will base their auto costs on the customer' driving record. In Ms. [redacted]' case

being at fault in three accidents verses 2 accidents will cause the price to increase. The same as yours or mine would. So, when her costs went up,

Ms. [redacted] came into the office and deleted her comprehensive and collision coverage on June 27th, 2013 to reduce her costs. Never once did

she mention to cancel the policy. Only to change the coverage. No one would bother changing their coverage if they wanted their policy to

cancel. She also removed her mode of payment from having it drawn electronically to direct bill. So, when her next payment was due, she did

did not pay it. The Insurance Company provided her with $230.99 of equivalent coverage in days of Insurance. Again, every Insurance Co. in the

Country will bill a customer for what is called "earned Premium", this is coverage received by a customer which has yet to be paid for. When it

is not paid for, it always comes in the form of a "collection letter" which is what Ms. [redacted] received and legally owed by the customer. In closing,

I will make a special phone call to my home office and ask them for some break in the balance due for Ms. [redacted]. If granted, I will be in

contact with her. If, my effort is denied, the collection will at some time be satisfied.
