Dalene Hardwood Flooring Reviews (7)

My wife and I bought tile from Dalene flooring. The sales lady that helped us at the *** store told us we could only return unopened boxes of tile. Once I started to install the tile it looked like we had way more tile that we needed. When I looked at the invoice I realized she sold us way to much. About 120sq' to much. And I also found a whole box of broken tile. We called to request a return on the unopen boxes and the broken box and we were told there are no returns and that the broken box was most likely from me. They took no ownership in there product. Even the owner was no help. This was our first time shopping there and are last. It was just an awful experience, I felt like once they had my money they didn’t want anything to do with me.

This wonderful family run business replaced the flooring in
my master bedroom I can always count on them to be prompt, efficient and thorough in their installations It is refreshing doing business with this company, as they have the processes in place to create a stress free experience

I contracted with Dalene to have my basement carpeted. When the installers came out they told me that I had to pay $200 cash to have some furniture moved. After the installation Dalene sent me a bill for $200. when I called to say that I had paid the installer, the receptionist called me a ***. I am a *** *** , I have no reason to lie. I have left messages for the owner and owner's brother with no response. they have treated me very poorly and I wonder if other customers have been treated the same way!

My name is *** *** and I live with *** ***. We moved into our current home in June 2017 where the work in question took place. I was eyewitness to the flooring installation project in our home by Dalene Flooring in August 2017 which is the source of our complaint.

*** signed an “acknowledgment” on July 1, 2017 prepared by West Hartford Dalene Flooring sales representative David V*** for the installation of vinyl flooring in our lower hallway and family room. The work was slated to occur July 27-28, 2017 and *** was to receive a phone call to confirm the installation date when the material reached the warehouse. *** received word from David that the flooring material was delayed and that there was no guarantee on when it would arrive. After many inquiries by *** to check on the delivery of the material, she finally received a call from David at the end of July that the material had arrived at the warehouse but that we would have to wa

About a year ago I had carpets ripped up and hardwood manufactured floors installed on the entire first floor of my condo. There were issues from the start, floors not being level caused additional cost and delay in the project (not the fault of Dalene). About two months after the install, I noticed several planks peeling, lifting and looking awful. I contacted the Southington store to complain. The manufacturer was contacted and sent out an adjuster to review my complaint. It was deemed to be an "installation" error, which I still dispute today, because it was several planks in random places all over the condo. Dalene's owner came out to my home and inspected the flooring himself. Offered replacement of every plank that was not perfect and further offered me a complete floor replacement if ever there is an issue with this existing floor. The entire process did take several months to finalize and correct, however in the end, I have a beautiful hardwood floor throughout my first floor. In the end, when the manufacturer did not stand by their product, Dalenes stood by not only their product, but the installation as well. I would not hesitate to reuse them again.

Very poor service does not standby customer bad installer.dalene made promises and not made good on them will not recommend to do business with them.I feel with the amount of other companies that can do a better job I would look very hard somewhere else .you be better off and happy
