Review: My legally parked car was towed from 1st and Fried Street in Gretna, LA on Sunday October 5th, 2014 by Dale's Towing and Storage. I strolled my 2 year old daughter to the lot at 8:30pm where the tower told me he'd wait if someone was coming with $180 cash so that I could retrieve my car. When my sister and her boyfriend got there with the money about 45 minutes later, her boyfriend made some indirect comment about the tower, involving the word "pk", and the tower told me I could now come get my car tomorrow. I was hysterical, saying I couldn't leave without my daughter's car seat. He said he didn't care and I could get my car tomorrow and abandoned us in the lot. I had to get my sister to drive us, my daughter without a car seat, to my house uptown. The interaction leading up to this had nothing to do with me, the owner of the vehicle, and jeopardized the safety of my daughter.Desired Settlement: I want, at the very least, my now $200 charge (they charged an additional $19 for storage). I would also like to hold the company accountable for putting us in this dangerous situation.
