Mr. [redacted] I'd like to begin by apologizing for any misunderstandings that have occurred during the Project we started on your property at [redacted], Shelton Washington 98584.1 take great pride in my work and my staffs work as well, however this was an...

unfortunate turn of events that has obviously been handled not to your satisfaction. I received your complaint from the Revdex.com and thank you for taking the time to read my response to your concerns. When we began conversation on this project it was clear that money was tight however you really were not comfortable in finishing the work yourself. So you agreed to hire my company Daley Electric to accomplish the needed work in a professional and complete manner. As per your letter there was a misunderstanding to your required needs and this created tension between my staff and yourself during this project. You have listed a series of inflated concerns on your Revdex.com letter that appear to make Daley Electric negligent overall in this situation and the greatest concern you pointed out was cutting into the structure of your building. I have spoken to the inspector that checked the project and advised the exposed wire needed to be ran in a different fashion. We discussed your concerns for the structural integrity of the building and there are no issues from the work we did. I will apologize for the approach that was taken to use the scrap wood that was available to cover and secure the PVC piping as we were trying to help you with your budget. This was not the cause of the failed inspection. I agreed to try and make it right for you and you refused to allow us to correct the issues due to feeling upset. If I was in your shoes I'd be upset as well. That being said we offered to correct any misunderstandings, fix any issues and make the job correct in your eyes however per your letter "I refused to have him back on my property to fix the issues".Your letter spoke about costs and I'd like to address those concerns now. You stated at the beginning of the project money was very tight so we discussed options. I offered half down and then you make payments for the remaining balance. You agreed to this and we moved forward. Your letter is requesting $500 which is the remaining balance. I agree that you're feeling disrespected and perhaps feeling upset even today as you receive my professional response. That being said I have tried to work with you and repair any issues. The law is clear when it comes to services rendered and non-payment of services by a customer. However instead of creating additional tension and making you feel more disrespected, which is farthest from my intentions, I would like to offer you the option of continuing your Payments as agreed and taking $100.00 off the remaining balance. This would cover Time and Material for the end of the project and is reasonable due to the fact you refused to allow us back to resolve this. Your letter alone is enough to file a request with the courts showing you failed to allow us to correct any defaults as required by law. I am a simple man when it comes to customer service so when someone is upset I will work with them to correct any hard feelings however you wouldn't allow Daley Electric to resolve it. I will allow you until July 15th to respond to my letter before attempting to contact you again to try and move forward from this unfortunate situation. I've never had a complaint like this and I'm trying to take it as serious as you have but the fact Daley Electric was not allowed to repair any defaults is disheartening as we would have appreciated the chance to repair these issues. The material we used was scrap however we are willing to accept your concerns and if s included in the $100 off. Per the inspector there's no structural issues with the PVC hole that was cut however I apologize for any concerns over that hole as well.So as a recap, I do acknowledge your concerns, I acknowledge that financially things are tight for you, I acknowledge that Daley Electric was not allowed back to repair defaults, I acknowledge your request for the $500 balance be deleted, and I acknowledge your feeling extremely disrespected. I offer $100.00 off the balance and you can make 3 payments of $150, $150, $100 for the balance or any other "up to" 3 payments for the balance owing. Thank you for your time and I hope that we can conclude our business with this settlement agreement.
